RESIGNED- accrued Time PTO

I am having a heck of a time receiving my ACCRUED PTO time. My last day was Septemober 1st and it was not received with my last pay. They put in a ticket...well 3 tickets now...rerouted a bunch of times. I was told MANY different things and they can't give me a date when I should receive. Any thoughts?

They are totally backed up with the switch to Colleague Zone and Workday for payroll processing for normal business and terminations plus not properly planning for the volume of layoffs and giving access to those in limbo (not working but still active and not separated or terminated yet). Terribly uncaring! Shows true colors of what they really think of the colleagues. Those not laid off beware…you could be next!

@1vgf+1oHcAEmu I have ACCRUED 116 hours with no PTO time taken....they owe it to me. I was supposed to get it on my last pay cycle. We are now stepping into the second cycle tomorrow with no movement or promise of when I will receive :(

Remember though, you left on September 1st so in theory you get 9/12 9 months of work that is worth of your PTO. If you've already taken vacation and that exceeds more than 9/12 you will not get the remaining time.

I just checked my rapidpay and I have some money in there for some reason. Not sure why, but I did receive my paycheck for 9/15. Will call HR to verify, not sure where the extra $ is coming from.

Your pay and PTO payout should come through your normal setup (direct deposit to bank account(s)). You should only get RapidPay if you signed up for this. This may be an error to check into.

I got a random email a few weeks ago that I received a payment on RapidPay, however, when I checked I didn't see anything and didn't think anything of it. I don't use RapidPay either so I'm not sure what that was about. I thought maybe it was the PTO being paid out...?

Final pay states pay accrued unused PTO faster but depends on state you worked in. Normally, PTO is paid out 1-2 pay periods after your termination date (biweekly or semi-monthly pay period, depending on your role). They may be backed up due to all of the layoffs, normal terminations and running payroll through a new system (Workday). Hope you receive you payout soon!
