Assuming someone had not only a legitimate complaint but also significant documentation, did the Company do something to get them out of the situation (i.e. move them to another team, offer separation package to prevent litigation) or did they just use the information to build their own case against you? Does the company only take you seriously when you contact an atty for representation? I'm trying to figure out what approach I want to take.

@1zap grow a pair and put on some big boy pants. Just get over it will ya
The pay here is pathetic , I quit too
Not worth the reward
Underpaid Salaried employees working long hours and doing a lot with little help. Other areas who are doing more repetitive work assignments get hourly pay and overtime. Still paid more! INCONSISTENT PAY not equal and fair. NO wonder they are always in the hot seat!
I have a similar situation and have been wanting to know how to handle and the outcomes of others. Following this.. and based on responses dealing with it internally will get you nowhere but retaliated against. My guess would be find an attorney and they can tell you what they think. If it’s worth pursuing. It’s really sad to read all the stories of corruption. This place is rotten to the core.
As long as you continue to whine and complain about the same thing, you will continue to be called out. It's pathetic. See a shrink and move on with your sad life.
@1vqd, do you even get the point that is being made? Talk about beating a dead horse. Look in the freaking mirror!! Ha!
@1vqd, okay - to someone who has no idea what it means to be actually qualified for your job!! LOL! We all get the feeling you are totally unqualified!!
@1zap
Omfg, ssdd with you. How many times does that horse have to die? Grow up kid, the "teller" is more qualified or maybe the decision maker just appreciates less whining and complaining.
@1vag, you are absolutely correct.
I had a crazy old-timer that has worked at WF for over 30 years come after me yelling that I was a _itch. I wasn't working with her; I wasn't talking to her; she blatantly interrupted a conversation I was having with someone that I was working with. Her behavior was completely unprovoked.
Short story... I went to her manager. He basically protected her and said that she doesn't work like the rest of us (meaning she doesn't produce much), but she treats us all like family outside of work. That was what was important to him! And he said there were three sides to every story - mine, hers, and the truth. Oh, okay! There was a witness and no one ever spoke to the witness. The manager is a teller that got promoted by another teller and is completely unqualified to be any kind of technology manager.
I went to HR. He also went to HR and lied. HR sides with managers and actually told me to take a pill (I have it in an IM!). That manager and his manager along with the 2nd-line manager should have all been fired along with his unproductive, crazy employee. They were all trying to protect their friend of 30 years. They are such a tight little family that could never work anyplace else or work without being surrounded by all of their buddies of 30 years.
End of story... I was blacklisted and remain that way to this day. Bottom line... HR doesn't care about incidents like this - even though they are creating a hostile work environment and it is totally violating company policy. It is not going to end up in the news. And they will always side with the manager no matter what - even if it is obvious the manager is a big fat liar and friends with the offender.
H/R does nothing to help the employee inspite of what they want you to believe. If you have a complaint about a manager, they will side with the manager. It's useless.
HR only cares about something that may end up in the news. Remember that before you think that HR or any manager there will do the right thing. They won't! They are corrupt from the top down.
I had an overt threat against me by a manager in writing and sent to more than just me. We all called ethics line. No help to me was given. Case closed. I continued to document the retaliatory behavior and have about 15 pages of notes. I was told it was not retaliation although it was an example used in our develop u course. I asked for help in moving to a new team or department and HR said that is something they do not do. The burden is on the employee. No action taken to the manager and I was left to look over my shoulder constantly. It took me 9 months to find a new internal position. I did talk with an attorney who said I really didn’t have a case given the manager didn’t physically harm me. Bottom line Wells resources will not help you but will protect the company.
@rqu+17H2nHsx do not file with ER. They will use it against you or stall until you are terminated. They are not there for the employee, they are there to protect WF.
This isn't the original poster but my situation entails labor law violations. Maybe I should file a case with ER.
how about labor law violations?
Get any attorney
The company will go out of its way to protect itself first. Then you second.
OP here- my situation has nothing to do with layoffs
The customers that had fake accounts opened were forced through arbitration. Laying people off isn't illegal. Most states are at will.
I never signed an arbitration agreement
Any State and Federal violations will supersede the mutual Arbitration agreement.
WF requires employees to sign an Arbitration Agreement at the time of hire. All employment matters go through arbitration. Good luck trying to sue.
