The total lack of concern for workers has me disgusted. No communication or transparency from leadership, and the inability to make decisions is now pushing layoffs into the holidays. As much as people want to say it's business, it's unusual to have this level of incompetence and disregard for workers. I've worked at two other large banks and they had their problems but not on this scale.

BB&T was a great regional bank. SunTruist is a mishaped Frankenstein's monster, fully infected with SunTrust toxic culture, lumbering slowly to its inevitable demise.

Nobody in NY cares LOL!! Why would they? They are not in NY you id--t!! TFC is the best regional bank in the South by a large margin and you can throw in sh-t bags BA and WFC!

Look at the ups and downs. This board is full of crybabies who lost their jobs or trolls who could not get a job. So sad. Just remember there is always fast food for you to work a register.

"Best regional bank" Must be a Charlotte tech bro. Nobody here in New York knows or cares about this company.

@1uxc+1pmqx2ec Totally agree. I stumbled on this site and damn, is this a crazy crybaby spot. TFC is absolutely a fantastic regional with huge growth potential! Bye to dead weight. Hope they find a job quickly.

Nah I'll wait for the severance. Why leave for free?

Besides it's easier to tell the next recruiter that I was laid off vs I hated my company so I left.

💯 disagree with previous poster. EL will choose buddies over hard workers anyday. SunTruist is a good Ole boys club. Loyal worker bees will be sacrificed to keep golf buddies and boot lickers in cushy overpaid jobs. Not one middle manager has been RIFed yet in my dept thus far - only lowly worker bees. Enough said¡

Layoffs are all based on performance, management is not letting go top performers to keep tweedle d-mb

“Enjoying reading the demise of a company makes you EVIL. Congrats on being of your father, the devil!”

Possibly true, but that’s the Devil (ego) in your post as well

This post below from someone epitomizes people on here. They thrive on negativity and drama. They also are narcissistic and want to let us know they were smarter and left. Nothing on these posts breed positivity or do any good. I get people want to be heard and voice their opinions but besides the 15 seconds of feeling good after submitting, what good does it do? I would encourage people to review any of the other bank boards. They are all the same with the same rhetoric

As someone who left Truist 12 months ago, I enjoy reading threads of surprise about Truist going downhill. Truist has been going downhill since 2H 2021 with the start of Truist BAU. Everyone paying attention could see these cultures were not going to mesh and execute.

is so funny the posts by people who could not perform and got let go, so I will try to make myself look relevant. Truist is just like all regionals and is currently

I am embarrassed for you thinking layoffs are based only on performance. It’s mind boggling stupid.

@pvj+1pmqx2ec HBBT knew KK had a lot of sycophants but we did not know BR had HSTI sycophants. I suppose that Beau has them as well. You investment bankers are indeed a different breed.

It is so funny the posts by people who could not perform and got let go, so I will try to make myself look relevant. Truist is just like all regionals and is currently building a new and better product to grow in this new regional banking world. Wait until you see what BR will do. He is an astute and passionate man who will drive this new business model. Love it or leave it!

The only business school that will talk about the MOE will be places like Kennesaw and Tennessee State

No one cares about regional banks except the people that work there

Maybe not Shakespeare but not wrong. You have SunTrust leadership in charge so only way to go is down. This MOE will be taught in business school for generations on how to take over an acquiring bank from within and make it worse than the sh-t show that got acquired.
