Those on this site complaining about Wells Fargo and blaming them for everything need to go. You are part of the problem. Every team member received communication stating that the stock would be taxed as income. But again, no one reads. You cannot blame Wells Fargo for the site to go down of a third-party vendor. If you had brains, you would have went directly to the vendor website over weekend knowing that Monday everyone was going to be logging in and bog down that system. Stocks were posted Sat. This is no different on Black Friday when sites go down. People use your brains.
You can access the site directly through shareholder services without logging in through Wells Fargo. The shares posted on Saturday.

Once again, Wells Fargo shows its incompetence. They announce you will be able to view and sell your shares today. Low and behold, there are some employees that have to wait another month until they are vested. Another example of how management continues to fail and one hand doesnt know what the other hand is doing. The rep said they have received hundred of calls regarding this and thought everything was going to vest today also. Absolutely ridiculous.
You people are absolutely ridiculous. The site is working for me. And that’s how RSRs work. They are compensation that have to be taxed. If you have a problem with that, don’t blame WF, blame the tax law. Wf was very clear about that in all of the emails they sent ahead of today but obviously you don’t read.
Every gift a employee gives out is taxable so shouldn’t be a shock! Plus it was 34 more than ya had so quit complaining

Employees will eventually be able to log into website to sell this worthless stock but you have once again caused unnecessary stress on employees.

If you were retirement eligible, they had been withholding the Social Security and Medicare tax as you vested each quarter. Now they took the Federal/State income tax.
