They better not try to give people points because they can't make it in HR will have a lot of phone calls because they know people can't make it to work through this ice and snow.

You will get points. Even if it’s icing outside.
Just had a big snowstorm here in Ohio Tuesday resulting in 10”. I called off along with almost 20 others and we were all pointed. Approached the store manager about it but still dont have an answer. Level 2 and level 3 in all surrounding areas.
You will not get points for weather
Except PPTO is more akin to sick time than vacation time and Walmart has already proved they can strip a person of sick time with no consequences.
@1ajz Can not happen since vacation time is protected both by your state's constitution and the United States Civil Code.
@1utx, Don't you think HO will one day change their mind and NOT pay us those PPTO hours when we leave or get fired if we don't use them?
That’s why you don’t burn protected PTO just for the hell of it.
That is what your protected pto is for.
