Managerial Harassment at all times high in Southwest Market

Reps are being harassed at all levels for NOT printing quotes and adding VZ Home to it. Not sure if its going on in stares like Cali & Northeast market, but its highly corrupt & managers are threatening to give write ups if they dont follow these corrupt practices. Also Age Based Discrimination is also being practiced in a very silent but its clearly been seen and proven. Where is the integrity in that? How can all this be reported?

Care gets complaints about the slamming of features all day everyday. It’s ridiculous that our sales reps are harassed and threatened into doing it. On our end, supervisors get on to use for removing the “extras” and crediting the customers. If sales wasn’t coerced into adding sh-t I wouldn’t have to remove it ! No integrity in leadership

The person below is correct in saying Verizon will make millions from the set up fee. They have already projected how much and it was discussed in the training. If a customer is intent on switching or adding lines to Verizon they will find a way even if a store is busy doing set ups. Verizon is clearly pushing business to online and the retail stores are becoming mostly customer service based.

A quote is a tool to show the proposed discounts, trade in credits, insurance cost and other items like VHI and Home protect. You walk the customer through their options and inform them of services and benefits vzw has to offer. They can decline the offer or part of the proposed quote. You are not to hide the cost and no part of the offer is mandatory. Please apply for customer service southwest complainers because you never should have joined a sales team. You are not up to the task. Please go back to Walmart.

Just print 2 quotes. One with our premium features and one regular. Have to customer look at both and make their decision. It will he-l you sleep at night. If you get lucky they won’t pay attention and you close the fully loaded one.

This is the only company where managers aren't willing or able to contribute to the "team" commission. Why can't a manager ring out accessories for the "team"??!! No no Sales reps have to do all the sales so they can be scolded for not doing enough sales and managers wouldn't dare do anything aside from door greeting. Not sure what they're role is supposed to be anymore tbh

There has been an uptick in union talk because of the pressures put on specialists to slam these products. Slamming was suppose to end with 2.0 and the new commission structure. That didn’t last long.

I sell this product with integrity and probably one of the ot reps that sell it in my location. With that said, we are experiencing the same thing. Our managers keep begging us to push this product and the home internet (which is constantly being returned). One of my coworkers got a horrid a-s chewing in front of us before getting pulled to the back for more of it for not selling it atleast once. I see the DM coming down on our managers about it too. They constantly harass us to push products that barely contribute to the sales bucket to make us commission and its getting old. Our last commission check was so tiny it's a slap to the face. They want us to be more satisfied with recognition than getting paid and it's becoming a huge problem cause recognition doesn't pay the bills! We don't slam stuff at our store since we are a smaller city in rural Midwest, cause customers will come back and look for your name and tell the managers that you slammed them and you will get fired. It feels like this company is losing its direction and isn't as sales focused as it used to be. We sales reps (corporate store reps) are now taking on managers duties while getting paid less, meanwhile our managers sit in the back on tik tok watching the cameras and collecting a higher check for doing nothing. They might check in a person or 2 but refuse to take a sale or help. It's getting so old!

True DAT!! Someone posted something about which district, DOS involved, etc but that post got deleted immediately. What does that tell anyone!!! It was like someone tried to make a ho-e in their “Golden Parachutes” which they’re planning on soon bcz they also know there ain’t much left for themselves even. Ok next time prnt the quote, circle the vhp and tell the customer what it is. 9/10 will say no anyway then you move on. Sell with integrity and there aint no chance they guna write you up for that

Managers in our district, are literally seen/heard telling the “Newly Hired” staff to add the VZ Home to the quote & present it to the customer, making it seem like thats what they’ll pay, but the $25 extra charge is no joke & when the customer questions about it, It’s being manipulated in such a way, that they are even telling them to waive the upgrade and/or the activation fees. What a joke. This is not right for the customer or on the reps who might jeopardize their job, just bcz the upper level manager level peeps & above wanna be seen as great leaders and high performers. Corrupt, very corrupt!!
