I work in a store that is closed on Sunday’s, we don’t have a set schedule. In fact we end up using more pto because Sunday is a default day off.
Not complaining, every Sunday off is nice, just reminding you there are pros and cons to everything.
@1rlz+19bo8XRA I almost do in California. And my managers make more than me so yes $35-$40 is about right. If someone is making $26.93 they will be at $35 per hour and that a lot of reps and managers in California that have been with the company for about 10 years
@1xwg+19bo8XRA and this is exactly why they want to get rid of you and replace you with part timers at reduced wages.
@1uhk+19bo8XRA 100% accurate info.
There are not many states left that require this but if you work in a “ blue law state “ then you automatically get premium pay on Sunday. Historically this has been time and a half pay . So if someone has a pay rate of let’s say 20 an hour then the Sunday pay rate be would 30. It is quite possible some reps are making close to 40 an hour working Sundays . I’m sure anyone in a blue law state enjoys working Sunday’s.
There also n’r no one making $35 an hour Bruh!!
There are plenty of reps out there making 35-40 bucks an hour on Sunday’s depending on which state you work in. Fact.
"I was just taking orders" bootlicker talk
To the person talking about running people off... I personally ran no one off. Upper leadership should not let every store but one be open on Sundays. They have to submit approval up the ranks for closing days/hours. And if you don't like it then apply for other positions/companies. Be apart of your own solution. I understand you are venting out of frustration and people can definitely be internet bullies. Until we are all our own boss we have people to answer to.
Yes closed a bunch of stores and dropped more of a load on the stores that are open during the week. And now the one store still open on Sundays...
To the person talking about staffing... Maybe if you didn't run everyone off and let people transfer at 40 hours stores wouldn't be so short staffed.
The other saying we are ungrateful you can piss off. Prob a f—ing VP who has worked from how this whole time.
And this is why Retail is struggling... Have a job, benefits, good hourly wage and a Sunday pay, yet still complaining. They got rid of a bunch of stores and these people don’t quite understand what is happening to their channel.
Some stores do not have the staffing to schedule their employees 40 hours and stay open 7 days a week. That extra day off needs to happen so they can keep the doors open the other 6. The easiest choice is Sunday, which is a shorter day, so your other 5 days at work are full 40 hours. Not sure why you would be only doing content transfer unless your were ridding the clock with a customer in front of you while helping no one else. The wifi reaches the parking lot. Get it going and help the next person so you stay open.
You don't make 38
I don’t mind sitting in a chair on Sunday doing content transfers making $38.00 an hour.
Nice thing is you are writing this from the store where you are getting paid. Seems grateful.
Cause they work in stores that are closed on Sundays and you do not?
