Thread regarding Truist Bank layoffs

Monday Kick Off/ A great place to work

Yesterday we had another great kick off for the week! Our RL got on and told us all about how our leaders are laser focused on making Truist the greatest place to work! They didn’t go into detail; but my AL said we gotta ~believe~. After that we heard an Act Of Care. This was a very special Act Of Care; instead of shouting out your front line teammates. Our leadership chose to shout themselves out for all their awesome work!

Let’s remember we shouldn’t be pushing for 100%; 150% is the new norm and if you don’t hit that you just don’t have our work ethic. Lending is HUGE but let’s forget about the fact that HELOCs are taking up to 2 weeks for an underwriter to be assigned. “Just put out the fire with the client when it’s time!” IRM is our pathway forward and we have to bet all our chips there; but we’ll still refuse to show accountability to those partners to make sure they are doing their jobs! Why make them accountable when we can just blame the branch? “Your partner not reaching out will not be an excuse anymore”

You should have enough appointments per day to hit your weekly ccg goal minimum each day. We’ve cut 401k, employee stock purchase discount, have you horrible insurance, understaffed all your locations, ruined technology, leaked your info and continue to make decisions that you get to be the face of the company for! How exciting! Why do we need a PULSE survey with all of these awesome changes? This is the greatest place to work!

  1. Can't see who I need to see
  2. Everything is more expensive or you can't get the medication you need
  3. I like closer to the Savannah area, but they consistently expect me to go to Atlanta to be in network. Can't even see my long time primary doctor because that is "out of network" so I have to pay out of pocket

Nobody from another at another bank is asking you why you are still at Truist. Stop making things up to strengthen your point.

What is all the griping about the health insurance?! Turns out Aetna is really good. Makes me think it’s just something to gripe about. Truist is no bed of roses, but not everything is horrible. If so, give the facts of why Aetna is so bad.

By the way this is written, I can affirm that you definitely work here 🤣 I have the same sentiments. This bank is more embarrassing to have on my resume than a gap. When competition calls me and asks why I’m still here, I sometimes wonder that answer myself 😂
