Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

Town Hall

Seriously I know that WF is monitoring this post. Someone needs to tell CS how totally insensitive and tone deaf he is to the entire employee population. OMG he does not know what core location strategy is and the impact it has on talented employees being displaced from the company is totally, disappointing, disrespectful, and insensitive, to the wants and needs of the company. He is an absolute joke and disgrace to being the face of WF.

Who has the courage to step him up and make his aware? Anybody, anybody………..

I don't know about you, but I always feel Charlie and Wells Fargo executives are arrogant.

Why does Charlie deserve $24.5 million?

To those concerned. I have had the pleasure of working with Charlie at another company and now at Wells. Those few who criticize him are either grandstanding or you just don't know him, really. Your venting needs to be directed elsewhere.

Any other conspiracy realists catch Charlie saying he wants us “to know where the true north is” look up what that means unless you’re too dizzy from all the spinning in the middle of space.

CS, the king of gaslighting and offshoring can not answer a simple question without the "bubbleheads" behind nodding along like brainwashed minions.

Seriously, in a world full of bright, intelligent, successful business leaders THIS is the best we can do?

We are doomed

@usx+1oWg3k7b it was disgusting. I posted during the call that the people in Minneapolis should be ashamed of themselves for the boot-licking questions. It was an opportunity to ask about offshoring, or a million other important things. Of course, I was downvoted.

Good, in that case they can stop tracking it or firing people for it.

I’m not a Charlie apologist, but the person who asked this question confused him by saying “core location for RTO”. RTO isn’t a thing anymore. We are no longer “returning” to office. We are there and it is considered business as usual.

I logged in for a few min to see this clown show. Not sure if anyone noticed, but did you see the bubble heads in the first row nodding their head back and forth after every word that came out of CS’s mouth? It was like a cult summit, disturbing to watch.

"Speak up if you see a problem. Offer to help fix things if you can instead of complaining about it. If everyone spent an extra hour once a week helping out aside from their job, then maybe we wouldnt be in this situation."

You obviously haven't been around long to experience being slapped down for speaking up or suggesting something that puts your mgr or team in a bad light. Unless see something say something results in a acceptable mindset and no fear or retribution, then things will change.

Why does anyone attend these? It's not like your name is going to get announced. Every single time he holds one of these something is said that embroils the masses. It is not worth giving him the attendance count. Stop going. Just like with forced RTO. Stop buying food at the work locations. They have forced everyone back due to the upcoming failure in CRE. That is why he is being divisive about "location strategy." The reason you went to the town hall was fear of missing out (FOMO) but deep down you knew something BS would going to be said to upset you. Stop giving him the attendance numbers.

Wells Fargo might have problems because of YOU, but I can promise you it’s not because of ME. And it’s not because of anyone I know in my LOB.

You think if we all worked 41 hours per week instead of 40 - that would make a difference? That tells me you are an hourly employee and yet you know better than those of us who are exempt and regularly working 50 to 60 hour weeks?

If you don’t mind, please give us some examples of Charlie “doing the best he can”.

Exactly. He knows. Location Strategy 1.0, 2.0 etc. is one of his primary initiatives. He knows everything there is to know about it. His "answer" during the Town Hall was a clumsy attempt at evasion.

Charlie is our CEO. He chose this job when no one else would. Do you remember how long it took to find a CEO? Thats embarassing. Its not because of him we have issues, its because of US. Speak up if you see a problem. Offer to help fix things if you can instead of complaining about it. If everyone spent an extra hour once a week helping out aside from their job, then maybe we wouldnt be in this situation.
Lets lower the pride a notch and get over ourselves. Hes doing the best he can with the damage that has been ALREADY done.

WF doesn’t monitor anything here. Get over yourself. You might as well be posting on Facebook. No large Org cares about this site. There is no conspiracy behind post removals. It’s all because of TOS violations.

Absolutely insensible. He wants the interns to go back to 1940s where there were no video calls or Microsoft teams. However he wants to hire interns and displace tenured employees because of cost. Now, which interns would want to snail mail through USPS their paycheck? Of course it is easy to brainwash that section of population but at least I do not see any value in listening to the screaming of one rogue employee on the floor and having to take corner in a conference room if one is available for the rest of the day. Whole RTO does not make sense for a major cross section of employees and of course corporate bullying won’t stop.

Do you think Charlie is sensitive and in touch with his employees?? Did you get the impression he knows what core location strategy is? Is your head proudly planted up Charlie’s ar-e? I’m curious- please explain yourself.

I agree. "I don't know what you mean by a hub?" Seriously. That tells me that he has no say or care about it. The leaders (head) of each group is deciding. "Hmm well I live in city X, so that's a hub for my group. And, my two favorite people work in city Y so that's a hub for my group. Everyone else can pound sand."
