Thread regarding Fiserv Inc. layoffs

O H

Our new Ohio office is in the most trendy part of Columbus with craft beer on tap. Not sure what you all are complaining about

For those of you who were told they are building an OH office (as we have been for 2 years), nothing is happening. I was there today. The floor is bare cement, there are no walls, just metal studs and no one was working on it. It was the same a year ago - no change, no action.

@1ttl+1oHZbmHv - are you sure? That site has been promised for over 2 years and nada. May be a line you are being fed…

The Dublin office did close but there is one floor in a shared building of about 250 seats opening in next few months in Columbus next to 71 N and Polaris Mall

Dublin OH office permanently closed. It's also not listed in FUEL as a location anymore. Stop lying to people and being an a-s. You're probably a manager infiltrating the forum to stir the pot.

You won't lose your career, if you transition out to a new company. Fiserv is the exception, not the norm. Lots of great companies out there who would be happy to have your experience and expertise!! I'd really recommend getting out in the market and finding something else, do NOT uproot your family for this sh!thole company. If you aren't sure where to start, my spouse was there longer than you and felt that way for sure, try finding a career coach. Use this to propel you onward and upward!

Do you understand if I don’t move to Lincoln, NE, I’m going to lose my career I’ve worked for 17 years, and have to sell my home? Also take my kids out of their schools? No reason for this. WorKed remote for 13 years!

I'd have to have beer on tap in the office to live and work in ohio.

Regardless of whether there is an OH office, what people are complaining about is an upper management that demands associates uproot their families and change locations out of some misguided sense of loyalty to a company that is loyal to nothing except their bottom line, and would fire them in a heartbeat, even after they moved, if it improved the quarterly results.

Ohio is so bad that the best spot is commercial real estate.
