We barely manufacture anything in China these days.
We've been diversifying our geopolitical footprint for decades. While China's increasing labor costs have also been pushing us out the door.
Tariffs will increase costs obviously. But we're a high margin business. The overall impact will be a smaller percentage than you'd think. And we might even be able to increase our diluted exclusivity in the process. Inflation was good for McDonalds business because they were able to use it as an excuse to raise prices.

You guys are acting like Nike is doomed. It will bounce back and be the greatest company once again. Just you wait. EH is already making significant changes and Nike is slowly coming back so stop with your BS.
If Trump enacts his tariffs Nike and all retail will flatline. Definitely save your money and start looking for jobs.

I was one of those who received notice on Friday. Made it through this far, only to be “optimized” post re-org.
There are still executing lay offs even under EH, but it appears it is related to further org optimization. Some people received their notices on Friday and others were asked to stay home next week and wait for further instructions.
