How many times are they going to pull access for tools we need without checking anything and make us submit tickets to regain access?

Same for our team! We got the run around for months. Contacting help desk, filling out tickets. Response usually being, it is approved and should be in Software Center to download, maybe reboot your laptop 10 more times and see if it shows up there. Our team still doesn’t have access to tools we need to fully do our job. And trying to just do general tasks like open and copy files with explorer is so slow because of all the spyware, it’s a joke. Of course productivity is down.

It took over four months to get the new members of my team access to tools they need daily. Some of these tools were even internally developed, and internally supported.

Takes 30 mins to reboot my computer in the morning. Spent another 2 hours today trying to pull a simple report that should have took two mins, so 30% of my day wasted on slow computers. Everyone i know has the same problem. This is compounded by person B being dependent on person A’s report and person C’s dependence on B. It's amazing how trying to save a penny on tech is costing the company millions. Of course it's just all the employees being lazy.

They force people into crowded, noisy offices... load their computers up with spyware that consumes almost all the CPU so that it takes forever to pull up an app. Then they are like "well, golly productivity is in the toilet! It must be because they aren't in the office for enough hours"

And How many times do you have to re-boot your laptop to get software downloaded and a working PC. My PC which has ZERO work files, just Fiserv apps runs out of disk space with all the downloads of software updates. Teams or Outlook does not work when there is low disk space. One of the most unproductive companies I have ever worked for.

More than you can't count my friend. This is the way it is in this company. They don't care if your nose gets bloodied, this is considered acceptable. They will constantly tie your hands whether is tools, servers, permissions, or software.
