Started with Wells Fargo Financial. Changed roles, on average, every ~20 months. Moved from $25k annually to almost $200k annually. I am ready to hang it up and walk away from this dysfunctional, arrogant, dysfunctional, smug, uncaring, lying, and corrupt pile of scat. I will either 1) get displaced 2) get fired for an expletive laced tirade that will become legend on one of the pointless conference calls I m forced to attend, or 3) make it to January 2nd and see how long it takes for my manager to figure out while I may log on, I am not doing a gosh darn thing. My wife is moving me to her insurance during her open enrollment and I only have a year until I am 62. My 401K is flush as I have less than 700 shares of this c-ap company's stock. If (when) they say there is no longer displacement pay, all of this accelerates. IDGAF & KMA

Op is either a liar or has severe cognitive failure. How is he 62 if born in 1977? Regardless, no credibility.

There is a big difference between being 62 and 43. Hopefully the original poster runs these plans through this with his wife, who apparently still has her faculties and is the brains of the family. I have seen this pattern many times... completely mentally deteriorated people who continue to rise up the chain without working or understanding pretty much anything.

OP here; wow. Lots to process. @itam, I am not a boomer. I was born in 1977. Joined Wells Fargo Financial in 2001. @1ome I don't think most people consider 43 as old. As far as stale, again move around and upward consistently for 19+ years acquiring and using new skill sets along the way. Have you even been promoted once? @1ojp, who says I am not getting my work done? It is getting done. I just have to compensate for the non value hours evaporated by conference calls that yield no outcomes. My intentions for that post were to convey how this use to be a great company in which to work. Not to piss anyone off (this post is intended to piss people like you off). @1pbv, wrong on both counts. I am neither male or white. Projecting much there? I try not logging in when I am taking time off, I always get contacted for something on most of those occasions. @1fxf I am mad at the lack of accountability that senior management has; the lack of consequences for the Compliance and Operational Risk teams dropping the ball time and time again (look up how many times it took us to get an acceptable Stress plan submitted) and more importantly the callous and uncaring manner in which this new leadership team is stringing everyone out for the upcoming reductions. I've got more but time to get to my conference calls.

Wells used to be a pretty good place to work, not so much anymore.
Crimes, then more crimes, then the constant threat of layoffs for years (did you notice the URL when you typed it into your browser to get here?)
Work is work, but it doesn't have to be awful. Wells is an awful place to work now, no matter how much you get paid.

Not clear what OP does or his/her beef. But the dysfunctional piece is def something that's true in many places w/in the company. It can be quite frustrating to get things done and you have dipsh*ts that don't know what they're doing getting in the way or going the wrong way.
How bad could it have been for you? Promotions every two years, a 6 figure salary, retirement savings. Wells has been pretty good to you. Tell us why you mad.

Aren’t you lucky. Getting paid 200K for attending meetings and not be honest enough to get your work done and then have the nerve to brag about it. Old timers coupled with previous crooked senior management is the reason the Bank is in the current state. What goes around comes around.

Another stale, old-timer that thinks WF owes them something - above and beyond their $200K/year. Most people would have some gratitude - at least I would hope.
