I find it annoying, unprofessional, I don’t know what the non-swear word to use is, that we don’t know which wave we’re. They absolutely know by now, so why can’t anyone tell us just that at least. I heard some groups have been told which wave. We have not, nor have we been asked to wfh so that leads me to believe we are next wave but I don’t feel confident in that. Way to pile on the stress…

Definitely doesn’t mean that — I know folks that were told to WFH, but were also already told their team is not going to be effected.
I was asked to work from home this week, in global planning DSM. In wave 1, and ready to go surfing!
They may be dragging it out to make it miserable enough for some to just resign. They didn't ask for volunteers, but it seems like there are many who would've raised their hand. They didn't institute any pay cuts over $X salary levels (i.e. ELT). Anyone losing their job sends a bad message to shareholders but there are other approaches that could have been better. Bottom line, if you don't eliminate the highly paid upper echelon that's making bad biz decisions, you don't solve the problem, and the cycle will continue to repeat itself. Shareholders know this, as has been reflected in the market.
This is like a sequel to squid games, but much worse.
This is Wave 1 of many more to come.
Kind of feels like phycological/emotional abuse to go on for 5 months at WHQ, with extremely little information given. Then again in Sept for EMEA (and for those remaining feel the effects again of PTSD.
