It’s good that the company is paying for cloud training. The sad thing is that most people can’t do Jack in any of the cloud platforms because we don’t have our act together. Honestly AZ900 is like you passed a grade school class. It’s just foundational.

Why was that d-mb? It got a bunch of outdated tech folks who are too lazy to learn on their own to become aware of modern technology. I for one am glad I took it.
@1rcb+1nBZM27D i know a lot of people who are quite advanced in their career who took that course and had a tough time with that test. If it was easy for you then it would have only taken a few days of your time at most, the test was paid for and you could do it from home. You wouldnt have even needed to take the classes, just the test. Is that how you did it? If so, why are you complaining about taking a test that took 30 minutes?
@lro+1nBZM27D I will say I’m glad you learned from it but if that’s true you’re very young in your career field. The level of that cert is on par with most CompTIA exams.
Besides the fact that literally none of the information will apply to 97% of the target audience, it’s d-mb to force this “intro” to Cloud and not truly support getting higher level ones or establishing an actual growth and training plan.
WF is excellent at offering workers broad based training. Good luck getting any real support if you desire true skills advancement and subsequent opportunities.
I only gained from that requirement. Not sure why you are complaining.
The exam means nothing to me and never took it. One could say the only reason AZ-900 was forced on us was due to contractual dollars expiring w/ Microsoft.
WF absolutely doesn't give two shts about its workforce and I instead choose to channel my energies in areas that are of real benefit.
It's still in place for our team. Despite being out of stock on vouchers because of supply chain issues.

I'm so glad I was forced to learn/take the AZ-900 certification. Started me on my cloud journey. It helped me get my current job in a different industry. I just passed the AZ-204 exam(developer) and plan to take the AZ-305 Azure Solutions Architect Expert exam next. I'm becoming a bigger fish in a smaller pond than Wells but making 13% more. I'm so glad I was laid off a year ago.
Better get 5 training classes in besides the mandatory ones before year end or you'll get dinged.
