Does anybody know if any measures are being taken to prevent the ongoing brain drain? Do you know of anybody in senior management or any level manager who is working to improve morale and the overall conditions in hopes of reducing attrition? Especially of those with priceless institutional knowledge?

The root of our problem is our headquarters location and the d-mbed down local hiring pool. People rant about Charlie but they should be ranting about the poorly educated HR staff who also come from an uneducated pool.
It is not possible to succeed with uneducated staff, nor is it possible to hire well educated staff with uneducated HR. We will continue to be sold off just like a parts car. There is no other option.
@1qsj settle down, you old coot. no one is impressed by your ITT Tech MBA.
@sjo Nobody cares about your stupid token co0n holiday. Wells Fargo shouldn't give in to this PC bulls#t
They also teach in MBA school that traitorous offshoring is a good thing.
I have seen this many times across the industry. This phase will be one of closed projects, and essential services only until the benchmark is attained. Then whoever isbleft will be reorgaanized into a service model and then a hiring spree will.occur to staff up.
The older survivors will become discouraged as the new hires come in with the same level or more of pay as the veterans despite not having survived the trauma and as the new kids are appointed to leadership positions, the veterans quit. Any survivors of this third wave will be considered "part of the problem" by the contextless new kids who will.manage them out.
I have seen this cycle four times at different companies. It must be a tactic theybteach at MBA school.
They could care less about retention! Its like they take classes in how to pi-s off good people. Never seen anything like this.
You have coffee in the office? We have to pay for it. First place I have had to do that.
Coffee at the end office is next to go. Goodbye Flavia.
Listen to the townhalls and ask me anythings -- they are being very open about the fact that accelerated employee attrition in parallel to the layoffs is how they're bringing down the total staff numbers to their intended target.
They're not looking to prevent it, they're actively encouraging it, and would prefer it to the layoffs that cost more when they have to pay out severance.
Earth to @OP:
No.
