Schelling will lead Verizon’s DE&I, talent acquisition, learning and development, career planning and leadership programs. When she joins the company on May 2, she will drive DE&I efforts to develop a more unified approach within Verizon’s talent strategy and continue to champion a workplace where all employees feel valued and empowered to succeed.

When will the Verizon Human Capital Report be updated? The last one posted is from 2020 and includes a message from Christy Pambianchi former Verizon Chief Human Resources Officer.
Oh you mean the strategy where the least talented, most clubby, high skilled kiss....as....rs get moved up and then don't do any work other than please higher ups, promote anything if required, and stop anyone who has a brain from trying to raise up issues? Yeah funny.

Thats the funniest thing I've heard in my life.
Wonder how much of a pay cut they took to do the meaningful work here at verizon.
@1qsh+1gnMWwGB Companies have gone woke, and this nonsense about diversity for the sake of diversity has become a bane of our society
Here’s a start, OULAW NEPOTISM, the hiring of family, friends and contractors a morale destroyer, these shmucks do no work because they’re protected and they somehow end up with the promotions, it’d be laughable except for the raises, bonuses, etc missed out on by the real workers
“Middle English: from Old French diversite, from Latin diversitas, from diversus ‘diverse’, past participle of divertere ‘turn aside’ ”
Sounds about right.
"Most recently, Schelling was Head of Human Resources for Global Corporate Functions at The Estée Lauder Companies, leading all aspects of human resources for the company’s corporate leadership teams."
Based on what we have seen from the new c-suite-ies to date, I would say that the stock has a lot further to fall.
"Diversity" has done nothing but 'Divide' people and is the exact opposite of what America is supposed to be all about: "e pluribus unum": out of the many comes one
No wonder why the company does not succeed, because they are so focused on being diverse instead of making sure that everyone is on the same page! What a bunch of losers!
Diversity is great, as long as it doesn't get in the way...
Stupid!
Well we definitely have all of the groomer types in place and were in the forefront of having men wear dresses to work in BR. That Disney/Gillette moment is definitely coming our way because the company marketing and leadership is completely disengaged from the customer. Today demonstrated that.
I feel like we're setting ourselves up for a Disney moment.
IT leadership just needs more secret sauce!
Fortunately the GOP is catching on to DEI and Larry the Fink''s efforts. While the November elections cannot come fast enough, fortunately next year there will be hearings into companies pushing DEI and other anti American tripe. See you in November!
The IT leadership team could use a major talent upgrade. Start with addition by subtraction of the CIO.
