Yes, increased headcount for Product Creation Centers in Asia. Local leadership in product creation are a group of listless sycophants to their VP. Nothing of significance will continue to be made.

@1ptw+1tYjevCL and we are adding headcount in product creation. This just means we need to cut even more to offset those costs since getting SG&A in control is apparently not a priority. All the expertise we just cut and now we're adding more headcount in PC even though nothing has been delivered in years that resonates with the consumer, T&E for PC and NXT has totally opened up, and we're going to spend more on marketing. All this just means more layoffs for the areas the great leaders of our company think we don't need, even if some of them were doing great work.
Many heads to be cut with $1.5 billion to reduce within 2 years.
Ad spending simultaneously spiking, we have a problem.
Sure, I’ll get to keep my job like awash so not concerned
There were layoffs before our stock price crashed. Now that stock is in toilet, sure there will be more layoffs
We were told we are safe and our team was hit twice both in November and in April. Trust none of the leaders. Our VP sits only two chairs below JD and told us we are safe and we lost a big chunk of our team including one team that was completely wiped!
Start looking for job now. Start looking after your best interest. Start looking after your family Now. Don't let corporate greed ruin your family and finance
If JD is still around, then very much yes.
Based on stock price, cr-ppy sales and Nike simply losing its market share to other newer, more interesting and exciting innovative brands, I’d guarantee more layoffs.
It's all but guaranteed there will be more large scale layoffs in additional to the stealth cuts being made right now. JD's bosses / Wall Street was promised $2Billion in cost reductions, the only way that's going to happen is to chop more headcount. I would seriously get your affairs in order and look elsewhere, its going to take a good 6-8 months to find something comparable or better.
Maybe q3 we will see some more given how the next few quarters go.
Procurement RIF’d or forced out almost our entire leadership team there the last few weeks outside the process after we were promised to be safe. So things are still happening it sounds…
There are still rolling layoffs. It is not over. It is rolling. Start looking for a
