I mean beyond those 7%? There was talk about additional numbers, thousand people or possibly more. Is there any new information?

...We just don't have this information at the present time....please dial us back at a later date when information is more available..
For a tranformation/layoff that started at rhe beginning of 2024, there certainly is very little information as to what’s actually happened and what is still pending other than increasing target number from 8000 to 10000.
@1prf+1tMJZa3J I wish it was a joke. But why did you think they eliminated these C-suite executives so quickly and suddenly? Was it the unfiltered survey results? Probably. But there are possible reasons for this. I am betting that the board requires a vote on whether layoffs happen or not. By eliminating JW and SR roles (people likely to oppose the motion), they have made it easier to vote on layoff approvals with Yes men on the team for these departments.
SAP without/with fewer customer, marketing and sales roles will be interesting. I can see other companies hiring for fully remote customer success roles worldwide in the thousands that have opened last week. They are most likely troll or ghost jobs anyway.
So what is the layoff strategy like? Old folks via VERP, services teams, and then what...
You have to just laugh, at face value, at the expression “customer success has been terminated”… SMDH
Most likely marketing and customer success. Now that Scott Russell and JW are terminated, the board will proceed to continue to cut costs in these two areas instead of diversifying sources of income.
