Thread regarding Fiserv Inc. layoffs

This company is low.

Let’s talk about severance. I was laid off 21 days before my 10 year anniversary with the company. They decided to pay me out only 9 years because I didn’t hit the 10 year mark yet. 21 days!!!!

Yea, that's the purpose of a severance, to squash any future litigation.

@1pjw+14azzmdP except any severance agreement has a clause stating the person laid off won’t sue.

I was laid off with over 20 years with the company, multiple awards and having delivered many money making projects. But when you’re over 50 you’re on their radar. Classless clowns

Do it without a lawyer. Fiserv wont even show up in court for 2 weeks pay and you'll win.

Same exact thing happened to me. Paid out 11 weeks when I was 2 weeks short of 12 years. Meanwhile FB brought home over $50mil that year.

Is it worth getting a lawyer for 2 weeks’ salary? I think this could be won as you were so close, but...
