Got told that the February Payroll hours budget had been delayed. Is this so they can assess how much has been used in January and decide whether they can slash any more in February.
We're cut to the bone already.

They sneaked that one in late.
The payroll hours are a joke!
And it's on us!
So ignore the budget and let the chips fall. If they fire you there's nobody left in the store.
So it looks like HF's career has included sitting on the board of 10 different companies.
Must be like the Oracle of Delphi - she will have all the answers!
Yet we're supposed to have schedules in 2 weeks in advance...🤔
A week until Feb and no hour guidance. They are screwing us yet again. I’m sure we will find out with no notice yet again and then be told 0 hours make due.

Therefore: Don't ki-l yourself for the company.
Lunch time, no relief, lock the doors and have lunch!
YOU will NEVER EVER get the $350k + benefits and THEY will NEVER EVER say thank you.
This company has always been top heavy. Corporate America loves to waste money at the top while allowing the staff that actually MAKES the money, suffer.
$350k plus benefits..
Well worth it as she has ALL the answers and she will probably need (and get) a team of admins and assistants to implement the answer.
Don't worry, you can run the store (aka the Profit Center) by yourself to implement her master plan.
HF was not good enough for Governor, so she settled for Follett. EK likely owed her a job as she was part of his situation and coverup. I have heard she is making $350k+. That’s like 25k labor hours :).
Another loser from CVS. I'm sure she has a history with EK. 🙄
Take heart, Follett just announced that they have hired HF as the new Executive Chair. Money for her but no labor dollars for the student facing employees.
What could go wrong?
Let's step back and see what you can list as quantified gains made by Follett Higher Ed with the addition of HF in say 6 months - July 23rd?
Are we really just one high dollar executive away from success?
Unofficially - yes, it is being reviewed and GVPs/RMs are also reviewing dire situations where contracts may be canceled due to lack of profit/future profit potential. There will be changes and they will not be easy. There will also NOT be additional labor dollars - some regions have been cut by more than 3,000 hours for the month of February (and remember, February is a shorter month). The previous poster had it right - buckle up because it’s going to be a very, very rough ride. God speed!
