They don’t like working for a guy who insults military families and calls their sons and daughters losers either.

"At least the government doesn’t give you meets when you exceed at work to avoid promoting."

The drive to 'meets' has very little to do with promotions. It's really about justifying miniscule pay increases. They don't need a reason to not promote you.

Veterans dont like working for a woke culture anti American, pro BLM socialist dumpster fire.

We rely on respect for chain of command until chains break and leaders burn thier people to save themselves.

It gets us ki---d in the field when weasels are leaders. Here, it ki--s careers

@1pau That is incorrect. There is an entire team within HR dedicated to recruiting vets. They actually did a decent job for a period; however, the vets never stayed long, the reporting shows we can’t retain vets here. I would guess based on my experience that it’s because this place is worse than the red tape BS you go through working for the government. At least the government doesn’t give you meets when you exceed at work to avoid promoting. They simply tell you there’s no room for your promotion and give you a decent rating. I’ve seen managers treat a peer like cr-p because he was gone for the guard. No one wants to work here in this chaos. We like structure and to know what happens when X is done. No predictability here.

@1pau every veteran doesn't ever shut up about them being a veteran. They'll generally make sure you know within the first 15 mins of meeting them.

Keep in mind that the numbers for veterans are only from ‘self reported’ or ‘self disclosed’ status on personal information page. It’s not required and I know several veterans who don’t want to disclose this…

The Mgt. team at WFB is generally opposed (indirectly of course) as onboarding veterans. WFB has a chronic leadership void/cancer that has yet to be purged. Chuckie and Saul are not helping the point. Vet's generally are highly motivated, disciplined and well adept at operating within teams and or employing leadership principles and practices on the fly, without thinking.

WFB does not embrace the hiring of individuals that immediately show up their own "leadership" team.

WFB will continue to circle the drain until they replace Exec and Sr. leadership with strong leaders and leaders able to develop and field other strong leaders. Current top dogs are only in it for themselves.

hiring veteran's? Give me a break. Your success here as veteran or reservist is directly related to your boss. Most middle managers prefer not to have reservists under their employ.

Wasting $ on RECs isn't something to brag about, but hey, not everyone has read the research.
