it does not help if you just give a random answer. you should mention team name and the position so that others than relate it. I know it is overwhelming for all. good luck

In my area my lead director found out monday morning who was on the list. I as a sr manager never got any info whatsoever. I lost 2/3rd of my team. Never got as much as an email. My skip level manager asked my employees for the meeting and did the laying off. Employees themselves told me what was happening. So, don't think all level of management knew. I knew nothing and still don't.

My understanding is the managers were told whom was being let go right around the same time the broader email went out. My question is what we’re the parameters for whom was chosen?

I did. There absolutely were talking points that we were sent late last week. It was standard stuff that was specific on what their last work date and last employment date will be, thanking them, explaining they’ll be eligible for severance, confirming their personal email address, and that’s about it. They were provided with a separation guide and copy of the severance policy via email after being notified.

It has been executed terribly by the executive team but we did get talking points after a quick and useless “training” meeting last Wednesday.

I did. Not all we’re handled by a meeting invite to important business update meeting. I was called by my manger and yes I am customer facing.

No talking points. All affected employees were invited for Important Business Update meeting and then news were delivered.
