3 days.= 1 occurrence vs 5 days. .That'll get rid of people with issues and Just one more way to reach that 10 billion in cost cutting without having to deal with those costly severance packages.

It is the minute that I dont agree with. Never have I had an issue until recently. Late 60 seconds from break too bad. Funny because the times I have been marked were when I was working overtime or at my desk working on break and look to see I've gone over by a minute. I am human and I think its nitpicking. 8, 1 minute tardis in a 12 month period is termination, ridiculous you ask me. They dont enforce it with everyone just the ones they dont dont want, like the ones who need to use fmla. They assume that we are taking advantage of the policy and be careful and pray you dont get cancer and or have digestive problems. They say its crucial to be on time to help the customer but that's not the reason they pick at people. That 1 minute late is nothing compared to the time it took to track it and time to send an email and or taking the person off the phones to write them up. 10 years and I have never had this issue before. Everytime I log in and look at my email it's my boss telling me to adjust a tine sheet error on time that had already been processed. The time it takes me to do this is a waste of time and when asked why I am told that it is considered falsifying time record and that a person can get into some big trouble. I am often told to go into meeting to discuss the importance of time keeping or the 60 seconds late policy and it brings my numbers down and counts against me. If she asks me to go into meeting she should adjust that time as off the phone time. I dont buy that a minute hurts the department and the customer when it takes over an hour to get on employees about such minor things. I put time out as 1201 to 1231 when it should have been 1202 to 1232 and I am told that I am falsying time records. It's obvious what is happening to me and I already know that its discrimination so does the department of workforce services and again Wells Fatgo treats employees like they are robots. With holding raises and then bragging about how many billions they spend to help under priveldged communities. I am so underpaid that the Amrtican dream is not achievable and if that's not bad enough I get to clock in every day to hear what I haven't done everyday. It is a joke if you ask me some people have too much time on their hands. If she thinks I was trying to pull something over anyone's head by entering my time off by 1 minute going out and the same coming in, there is a problem with her brain. It's the time I saw on my computer and I am sick of this micromanaging and feeling threatened and insecure that my being human tomorrow might be my last day and I could be homeless because of 8 minutes in a year. B S.
No raise last year. I have never tried harder and they have depleted my faith. My spouse passed away a year ago they didnt like the time I took being his caregiver and have done nothing but ride me since. I am exhausted just ay the thought of logging in and having the calls be the least important as I am correcting or reading about the new policy and or fixing my time sheets. I record the time I see. The customer is not important nor is the employer if they ever read the chat rooms they would quit doing business with us all together. I thought sales pressure was bad, nothing compared to having someone sit and pick at you all day every day.
It can can be somewhat difficult to discern the meaning of our teammates, in this smartest state in the country. However, the real question that we should ne asking regarding the new attendance policy is “anyone knows do they keep it here”?
Question how can this company allow this blatant disregard of an attendance policy? Like at my current job we got a person that clearly has a problem always calls off on certain day specially after sporting events known party goer yet nothing is done. We have to pick up the slack, and it’s totally unfair. Can’t they get someone else that can’t be a team player?? Uhh
I don't know if it's a question of work ethic across the board. I know many that twiddle their thumbs for literally weeks every month. Unfortunately.. the options are to either go with the flow or risk being the one that raises their hand and loses their job as a reward for their ethics and honesty. Everyone has a family to feed. I get why they go with the status quo.
Wells Fargo realized that many of its employees have the poorest work ethic in the entire world outside of government. Employees all the way from corporate down to the front line couldn't survive in a real job. Missing months of work each year is ridiculous. Poor effing babies!
So how can they fire you if you're sick and covered by FMLA?
@1ovf+1708fkLh
That's not how unemployment works da. It's a tax on employers on the first 6-8k of a workers wages. Not as you
I’m all for it, have had enough of people abusing attendance and making it difficult to get things done
The contact centers must be losing their damn minds. I remember when I worked there that no one on phones ever took one unplanned "sick" day. Always 5. Then when they ran out of pto they would take strategic occurrences unpaid near the end of the year. Milking for weeks extra off a year.
Then they'd go on leave for stress.
This is how you attrition people out. Occurrences = warnings =dismissal. They won't fight an unemployment claim. If they fight unemployment, then you can get a lawyer and fight back. This leads to discovery and may open the door to unwanted litigation. Unemployment is cheaper and only lasts until you get another job.
Wonder how this applies if sick with COVID. COVID is said to become much worse this winter and I expect more will be out because of it. You don't recover from COVID in 3 days. Another reason to save PTO.
Because you're on formal action after 3 - out the door after 4. No severance no unemployment
Why not 1 day missed = 1 occurrence?
Yikes my groups have always been mostly exempt which explains why I wasn't aware. That stinks.
when they want to start getting rid of people the definition becomes very narrow. I've been down this road before with Wells and you'd be surprised how strictly they will enforce the policy. Because I am exempt it really doesn't apply to me but I remember when it did and I felt the stress and anxiety of being under "warning " because I got sick, then my kids were sick. Very scary stuff.
Do they really apply this to folks who are out sick? I've just never heard of it being applied unless people had unplanned absences a lot, but it could vary by job.
An occurrence used to equal 5 days but per the policy change posted Teamworks this week, it will now equal 3 days. So, if you're sick with the flu for 5 days that'll be 2 occurrence.
I don't understand "3 days.= 1 occurrence vs 5 days." What are you saying?
