The Height of Hypocrisy

New training courses rolled out for Corporate Risk employees - one is "Climate Risk: A Hot Topic." An overview from the Head of the Climate Risk Group on WF's commitments with climate as a risk driver.

So, how does this climate risk mitigation effort align with sending 250,000 people back to the office 3 days a week, in their cars, to increase pollution? I would like to ask the so called Head of Climate Risk how that contribute to reducing climate risk, more exhaust fumes starting in October. Kind of like John Kerry being the Climate Czar for the Biden Admin and then flying around in his private jet emitting pollution galore. Can't make this stuff up, folks!

At least if you're going to assert to be a leader in climate risk, you should maybe not ask a quarter million people to fly back n forth to the office polluting the environment, 3 days a week? For starters.

Global warming, global cooling... Both are bad and would result in geopolitical upheaval.

Wow the ignoramus’ complaint was with acknowledging anthropogenic climate change is real, not WF’s actions. Who could have foreseen this turn of events

That's what insurance is for. In spite of the hysteria, global warming is much better for humanity than global cooling. Last big ice age, Canada was completely covered with ice, like a mile thick. The earth has been a lot hotter than it is now. Think dinosaur era where the northern latitudes were tropical and there were no ice caps at all.

Seriously? So if we write mortgages on a homes that go underwater or get burned to the ground in wildfires because of climate change, you don't think that would be an issue?

Its a distraction tactic.

Anytime you dint want to or cannot deal with a negative thing in life, its very normal to divert attention to relieve pressure until you can figure out what to do.

Kids do this a lot as do politicians (Trump collussion as an example) and apparently so do executives who dont want to deal with economic failure of the number 4 bank and throw DEI and RTO to keep us divided and focusing elsewhere as we lose our peers every day for "reasons"

The satellite images from space of the MASSIVE pollution decrease during the pandemic speak for themselves. Unneccessary RTO is the polar (painful pun) opposite of any "green" initiative.
