Is the new(est) CISO gone?

The CISO position is showing as "Open Manager Position" on EmployeeWorks (People Search)...

He was terminated on 9/20. Emergency Termination. People who know where to look knows this is true.

Post ID: @1qes+1cXOsnjx a complete fabrication - hilarious. He has been working in the office himself for months and was planning a(nother) remodel of the 3rd floor to accommodate MORE people being in the office

Nice try.

@1qes+1cXOsnjx. If he had to leave then all of chicken littles here will need to leave if they don’t RTO. Can’t wait

Well good for him! With his level of compensation, he can afford to just up and leave. Some of us, on the other hand, pretty much live paycheck-to-paycheck.

Just confirmed KL gone, he was admittedly opposed to RTO so took his skills elsewhere where he and staff had autonomy to WFH/remote

I am qualified to do the CISO job. I would be interested in all aspects except for the fact that I like jobs to go beyond 5 months so I'll pass.

Charlie boasts about replacing execs but they’re all from JP Morgan. SVB is the most toxic exec at WF. Neither of them are leaders.

With the musical chairs happening at the top I'm not sure why the leadership group thinks anyone is listening anymore. Why listen to "exec A" when you know they will be gone in a few months? I understand the idea of cleaning house, but it's counterproductive once a large % of the company just shrugs and tunes out.

@vpy That is the funniest thing I have heard all day (and probably the most true).

It's probably just enough time to assess the mess and realize it's futile given the exec team in place. Then deuces...

Maybe part of this has to do with his inability to get his damned all-hands calls/streaming working properly

So, this is the third CISO to leave since SVB came on-board. Regardless if they are leaving on their own, or being pushed out, this seems like a cause for concern.

Or you know SvB and CS are amoral smug a-holes and are difficult to work with.

@uja+1cXOsnjx

"You'll need to hit an attrition goal of at least 30% or lay off at least 20% of your workforce by year end or your technology budget proposal will not be approved"

Charlie likes to boast about replacing many of our top execs, which I get, but the other side of the coin is instability at the top. KL in place for only approx 5 months.

My guess is that they come in with the promise of putting their skills to work transforming the bank. But once they get here - they see how difficult it is to actually get anything done, and are disappointed about the reluctance to spend money on technology.

Wow, crazy.... I see him being "offline (2 days)" in Outlook

Wonder if he left on his own volition
