Thread regarding Honeywell International Inc. layoffs

Mandatory O.T.

Because of the computer hack and lack of output, R&O and Mfg areas in Torr have been informed of mandatory O.T. to try to fluff up the quarter numbers. Of course they are offering a great incentive to those loyal employees who step up......NOT!!!!

How will HON pay for all this OT on the floor?

(1). Lay-offs/RIFs
(2). Furloughs across the board?
(3). Furloughs of salaried only?
(4). Targeted furloughs?
(5). Roll-back merit increases?
(6). Cancel MIPS?
(7). Increase stock dividends?

@7tsh+1a2f5UJX Not surprising with the "limited" hack Honeywell is recovering from.

@1nke+1a2f5UJX Hey Ahab, TOE is obsessed with a white whale name MOBY D–k, also known as Utilization and Productivity! Get on top of Queequeg's casket when the whale hits the ship and you will survive. Garmin might even hire you. Remember anything can be outsourced, even Flight Controls like Autopilots, I should know as I was the one who outsourced them to AeroMach in Wichita. Remember Jump before your pushed!

Yep. It sounds as though they're going to make us work 20 days straight with the excuse the network was down over a weekend.

Next two Saturdays are mandatory at Olathe. If you have a floating holiday scheduled for Good Friday, they expect you to reschedule it. Easter has been officially canceled.

5 block "increases" for grunts are running about 1/3 of real CPI, even after the COVID excused robbery of increases last year. Since many techs and supervisors have already taken the last lifeboats from the Titanic, the upper management Triad Of Evil (TOE) at Olathe is milking everything & everyone dry. Looks like contractors will be running the show on the R&O floor by early summer.

Or 1 week of greer is needed to pay for 1 day of defense plants with their antique systems.
You will be busy for all of next quarter i expect.

Greer too. Apparently 1 day of the servers being down equals 4 days behind. And atleast Rocky Mount gets lunch. We're lucky that we don't have pay toilets here.

Y'all are so lucky. Many US salaried serfs have always had to work weekends and even when Honeyhell's network was down, we got to work on Teams

Mandatory in Rocky Mount also. We are getting Chick fil A provided Saturday and Subway on Sunday. Wow, BFD! Don't need the overtime money and was really looking forward to the weekend off like always and the weekend start times are two hours earlier than normal. But hey, we're getting a free lunch. :(
