Anyone else feel like that was just a slap in the face pay raise? Everything else goes up except our pay, All the while our boy Hans is sitting in a new yacht.

Fu--ing joke of a company. Top 200 in the nation, got 3% raise with exceeding. Coworker who got needs improvement got a 3.5% raise.
Stop doing the complaining and get back to work so I can get dee custom motorbike with sidecar for my tiny friends I surround myself with. It is funtastic and has 6ghee and MSNBC will love it always when I ride up showing what maverick I am.

Got a 1% raise which equals to 20 cents hourly. This is a slap in the face. Will be quitting within the next few months.
Get out! I worked at Verizon for 17 years from 2001 till 2018 sc--w them. Reading these comments it sounds like things are even worse now. Verizon landline was a bunch of liars and thieves, since they bought out Vodafone everything has gotten worse. Sell insurance to people who bought phones they cant afford. Get your call time down. Get a bad survey for no reason its your responsibility. Get a perfect survey you only did as required. Morning meetings to discuss how to convince people to agree to getting sc--wed by some new plan or policy. It never ends. I gave 2 weeks notice and quit 2 days later. My supervisor reminded me that if I didn't wait out the 2 weeks they would never hire me back! LOL That's like saying if you escape this prison you can never come back. 5 Years later and I am still angry. My only regret is not quitting 10 years sooner.
Very much a slap in the face when the company made 44b dollars last year off of our hard work.

I don’t understand how so many comments relate to your increases this year. Many should feel fortunate that you still have a job and the company continues with pay increases, short term incentives and stock awards. There are thousands of us that were recently laid off these past few years and not because of poor performance. I was part of a high performing team and we were all severed due to reorganization and we did not work in Human Resources. We no longer get those increases not bonus incentives. Many companies do not even offer half the benefits that Verizon offers its employees. I would gladly take your job if you are so unhappy due to the raise and benefits Verizon offers. Do I think the company has opportunities and should be run by a different leader, yes, but be grateful you are still employed. I wish I was.
Tech is now Sales, Sales, Sales then tech. We are also dealing with financial services, promo corrections, disconnects and other stuff. Tech should deal with tech then sales. I just follow the rules and as long as I am performing I am good. Leading can be achieved by those that lie and cut corners. I am grateful to have a job. I will always just go with the change. It is just sad that us little people are not compensated a bit better.

Leading did NOT get 3.5% those of us at “cap” only got 2% and I was a very high leading
The little nugget we got is not worth the stress and micromanagement. Doing as little as possible while trying to get maximum efficiency.
When you lay off 7% of your work force, you can afford to pay the few of us remaining an inflation adjusted wage. We are the ones who have to take on the extra responsibilities of those that left. C'mon man!
Boycott by finding a new job. They don't deserve good employees. Make sure you switch providers when you leave too. Wouldn't want to give them money.
Yes I agree with all of the above. Verizon Wireless made $76.7 BILLION in profit in 2023. For those that work in the BGCO - it has been a year of transformation and utter chaos. Worked us into the ground - and expect more and more from you. Do you really expect people to give like that and not get compensated? Very disappointed with the company and I expect most if not all employees are fed up. Poor leadership all the way around not just at the top but it trickles all the way down. Time to dust off the resumes V- Teamers before they outsource all the jobs to the Philippines, Mexico wherever. 3% does not even cover inflation rates… The company is a sh — show …. Very sad…
Pay raises are not based on performance anymore
From what I can tell they are based on race and how many pronouns are in your name
I have seen people who are on the way out based on performance get higher raises than people leading the channel

If you are not happy with your compensation, your alternative is to find
employment that better suits your wallet. Not doing your job is a sure fire
way to the unemployment line for cause.
