We have been told by our management that as per PC, if you're assigned to an office, you need to be there tomorrow. Badge counts have been "low" across FTS and there have been talks about letting people go who are not meeting the requirement.

@1nio+1lFH5Myz when tax breaks are at stake (like in BH), they really don't give a cr-p about how many hours you put in or the quality of your work. you're just a number that's impacting their bottom line.
I worked remote at Fiserv and I can tell you that in my role, the clients I supported got more out of me because of the long hours I worked that I would not have done if I had needed to commute.
So, no badge swipes does not equal productivity and effectiveness.
I sm not in FTS and yesterday got a message to be in office Thu and Fri. So its not FTS
I guess the layoff team is getting to my department. Not only did we have five people quit but we also have a couple of people laid off. Staffing constraints with six people quitting absolutely amazing.
How do we know if we are getting fired does some HR person assign a meeting with us?

Imagine if they put that same amount of effort into FIXING the internal issues!
The word on the aisle;
After one badges the turnstile;

I am stunned and taken aback with the clairvoyance of our cutting edge leaders who have crunched the numbers and done the analysis finding that in office attendance directly correlates to a lack of outages in disconnected data centers often thousands of miles away from an office. Their intelligence and messaging is second to none!
