You mean you can actually afford to put money in your 401k? Must be nice!

It’s mostly about making sure the corp doesn’t get sued.

Moore-Wright shared a thought-provoking keynote speech at the awards event, guiding the audience through her career journey and the immeasurable impact of human resource leaders. "Human resources is so much more than policies and procedures," she said. "It's more than compliance. It's more than just strategic planning. Human resources is the heart and soul of any organization. Human resources is about humans."

Your Chief Teammate Officer and Head of Enterprise Diversity just received a best in HR lifetime achievement award. She and her group of stellar overachievers want you to know how much they care for each of you.

Regarding high and inflated salaries look at ET SWED and Group Head IIIs that are grade 114 and 116s. They are overpaid severely.

Which peers get a 6% match? I just checked US Bank and PNC and they don't

Claiming to be aligning with peers but our peers still get a 6% match. GTFO with this BS.

Nope promote failed leadership and cut benefits for the worker bees.

Honestly- The pension/benefits combined are the only reason I haven't looked elsewhere yet! Getting people to leave on their own is much cheaper than paying severence and better PR. If I was leadership (which I'm not) I would eliminate those with high/inflated salaries and promote the true hard workers. SunTruist needs a complete EL overhaul.

The excellent benefits are the only reason most of us stay and put up with all the nonsense of working for a bank. That's the trade off. This is a big mistake and will hasten the sinking ship. The writing was on the wall when they announced the name Truist and the entire room just sat quiet thinking what the heck is Truist?!? Just so disappointed in senior leadership. They have utterly failed us and the shareholders.

"This will reduce the number of layoffs."

Yes, by making more people quit.

Thanks Bill Rogers!! I'm SURE you deserved that 27% pay increase, while you're cutting the little guy's salary. In a time of sky-ricketing inflation to boot! Really living up to your PURPOSE!!

We need to unionize but it will never happen.

Guess all the 'pros' sabotaging are at the top levels. They are doing a fantastic job of sinking this ship.

@1mlf+1p96yVVr "Guys if you’re still at SunTruist get off the boat. This thing is sinking. Sticking around miserable for a year or two of extra pension benefit is not worth your life’s time. This is an organization without a soul. Lots of great banks want to have you and pay for your big bank expertise. Just a matter of time before pension is frozen. Why contribute 1.5B annually to retain people when retention isn’t a goal??"

The really sad part is the reorg will just be a reshuffle of 98% who got us in this mess. I look out for myself, as the company does not care for me and only looks out for their best interests.

**disclaimer-that does not mean I don't do my job and assist our clients succeed (my favorite part of the job).

Some teammates received 0% merit increase in 2023; So anyone who received 1% or greater should be happy! SSI gave ppl 8.7%. Enough said!

Company gives a 1% raise last year for annual merit increase and turnaround and cuts 401k by 2%. Make it make sense

What Is Quiet Quitting?
Quiet quitting refers to doing the minimum requirements of one’s job and putting in no more time, effort, or enthusiasm than absolutely necessary.

They're "making us more competitive with peers" except we're now a 4% match. BofA and Chase are 5% match and Wells Fargo is 6% so who exactly are we emulating?

Love how they just capriciously cut our pay and didn't even bother announcing it or telling us why, just buried it an email. Spineless, cowardly, greedy. Makes me wonder if we need a union. This won't make a difference to the company but fu--s over 50,000 people.

We should all be happy that we have a job and get to celebrate Truist every Tuesday rocking our purple swag. What is a 2% pay cut? We know Bill Rogers will be with us and take a pay cut as well. He is a man of the people. He has purpose and cares. I love you Bill.

"Also decreased the pension amount for new hires starting in Jan. They really tried to make the email seem positive when all it was was announcing cuts to total compensation and worse healthcare packages. Don't know they're using "aligning more closely with their peers" as a selling point for paying us less."

The goal should be differentiation from peers!

There’s good old benefit cutting Bill back at it again. Started his tenure at SunTrust by axing the pension. That will be what he does here probably next year when his tricks this year don’t pan out.
