Yeah like all those other times they ”adjusted” Quota. They gave us like 2-3 devices and a couple hundred in sales dollars. Definitely didn't see a change in my check. Even if they gave us 50 phones and $2000 in sales dollars. It's not going to change anything or get me paid more. I'm still going to be at a .90....

On top of this my district is right back to pushing KPI'S, we were told with team commission that KPI'S were not going to be rammed down out throats...yea, that happened for about 6 months, now we're right back at it....making a quarter of the commission that we used to and being micro managed daily, while having a small fraction of the customers that we used to see.

For all you people complaining, you failed to read your emails. Quota adjustments are coming for November and December for VCG.
Yeah $200 is impossible. OP just trying to start a fire. Your store can sell literally 0 phones and accessories and come out with a 0.9 and lowest RIS multiplier is 0.6 which is $450ish as someone stated before. So yeah it could be under $200 after taxes if your store is doing sh– in RIS too, but if you're hitting 0.6 as a store there are worse problems than the structure. Not to mention it seems many forget that roughly $4k was moved from commissions into hourly, not including that 3% to 5% pay bump we got. So that alone is an automatic $340ish payout every month extra you use to not get on your hourly.
It’s true that leadership like the SM/GM and Directors haven’t felt the commission changes like those of us reps on the front line. Don’t worry though the retail realignment is coming soon and a lot of those managers who snickered when the changes came won’t even have a job. It is projected that 30-40% of DM’s will be packing their bags. Covid really brought out how underutilized that job really is. Gone are the days of a DM only running 4-5 locations. There is also some new key holder type spot rolling out in the first quarter. This is to prepare for the downsizing of SM’s . So yeah 2020 was a rough year but buckle up for 2021!
All we see is Big Greedy Red Color in this C’Mas there’s no Green at all, bcz that’s what they took away from all of us!! Yet the DMs, DOSs and folks going up in the chain of command, haven’t felt a pinch at all and then them shareholders etc , Verizon being very quiet about in the media etc...Doesn’t that tell us something? It’s actually impossible to hit a $200 commission. The absolute worst case scenario....if your in the lowest zone which is 831 target. You get a .9 on sales automatically and a .6 is the lowest ris so the absolute lowest you can earn is about $450. Over double what op mentioned. Math is hard
I find this board a great source of information and agree with a lot of the feedback on here. I just don’t like it when trolls come on and blatantly lie about things like only getting a 200.00 commission check. Yes the new structure s—s but the way it’s designed is that you will make a minimum of 500 without even trying. Most stores the last few months overachieved the RIS multiplier so they averaged over 1k checks. Nobody in retail made under 500 in commission since the new plan rolled out. Stop the BS.
Verizon’s leadership is so unbelievably crooked. They’re lying to your faces while they still continue to make the big bucks. We train management to be conniving bootlickers who suffer from groupthink. It’s astonishing that we’ve kept our head above water for the last few years.
Oh! That’s right, hardworking frontline and Band 9 employees have done the dirty work to keep Verizon in the green.
Nobody will hit the quota. And then they decelerate your commission due to the surveys. Its like they are just taking money from us. Does anyone else realize we make the same if we sell 1 device or 500 devices and still not hit quota. We literally make the same check. Why try?
