No more of a cluster than it is under CCB. CIG - CRE already governs half of the operations for CCB CRE. Makes more sense for them to run with all of it. The only thing that actually made sense.

So if I understand correctly, Community bank CRE is now aligned with CIG? I bet that’s going to be a cluster. Am I wrong?

The media and Truist media silent so far. SunTruist will have to issue a press release. Canty Alexander was a major presence in the Triad area for a long time. PNC will steal more customers business and personal with the loss of him. They like the personal approach in the Triad.

If David Weaver survives till year end color me shocked. I’m sure Bill has another Suntrust person ready to finish off Community banking.

So apparently they are “offering” some of those cut a position 2 salary grades below existing positions. This eliminates need to offer severance. So “stay if you want, but here is your cr-ppy new job making less”. Oh and you have 24 hrs to decide. So this way folks will stay til they find something better, then quit. The bank doesn’t look like it laid off so many this way. Heartless.

More of the same. HBBT being pushed out or back, HSTI gaining more control with their redundant controls and talking points. I thought BBT bought STI?
