Where in SE or Asia the layoffs started? any particular country? Is it only for CX team?

Yes, I'm in APAC and lost 50% of my team
Colleague in SE Asia hit it seems. Just canceled a long-standing meeting and said September is their last day.
Not sure about other countries but ample in India
