Just got out of a meeting that mentioned reviewing “activity reports”, assuming that’s some sort of employee monitoring or tracking but was hoping someone on here knew more

Look at your browser extensions on any of your open Chrome or Edge windows. Also look in the lower left hand corner by your clock and expand that. You will see the programs they are using.
I think the confusion is with the poster who said they’re able to listen to you in your home via the computer…not the recording of calls or the monitoring of your work on the computer…if you’ve ever reviewed a verint call, you’ll see that they show the recording of what you were doing physically on the computer during the audio part of the recording….you are being recorded, but they aren’t monitoring or listening to you outside of that
@1lcn+1iKd8vFz There is no expectation of Privacy. You agree to your calls being recorded. Also your Computer, work computer. It is not bugging your home. They record what happens within that PC and that belongs to them. What sites you visit, how long you spend in one place, how long between keystrokes. None of this is new. Try taking any company to court for recording your work phone or your company owned computer. In Florida there has to be consent for calls to be recorded. Two way consent. When members are called a disclaimer is given that the call is recorded. The calls you make to a teammate or different department is also recorded but that disclaimer is rarely if ever given. This is where you have to look at the terms of your employment. You already agreed to have your calls recorded. DPA from Verint will show your manager all of your PC activities. DPA is flawed for anything other than call center or task based work, it measures tasks. Other metrics are out there. AVAYA CMS, this is the phone data recording your call times, number of abandoned calls or number of times you go on hold. Some of it is reasonable, if I were paying your wage I would want to know you're being productive. Having said that, as a Professional I don't need or want my manager looking over my shoulder 24/7. The fact is, Humana wants communication with members, they want relationships and they want the members to connect.... What they don't want is to accept these communications and relationships are not and should not be just tasks.
Your employer does not have the right to “bug" your home, eavesdrop, or spy on you through a work computer or work phone. You have federal rights to privacy through the Electronic Communications Privacy Act (ECPA), and your work must legally ask for your consent to monitor your work calls or computer use while working.Oct 25, 2019
They can unmute you and listen to you through your computer.
It’s called DPA. It tracks idol time and keystrokes. Websites and everything you do. Hopefully you’re just doing your job but those who aren’t, can’t get mad when they are let go!
scary
It probably is….productivity
Ah figured we had something, especially now with so much WFH. I was more curious if it was RIF related.
probably Verint. they monitor everything you do all the time.
