Thread regarding Nike Inc. layoffs

Hey BoD. You should all resign.

If you voted for JD to take the helm and let him last for 5 years, after passing up EH.

Resign.

Let the change be good for you. Let's go!

I don’t know where you are getting your information from. It was evident to the rest of us that EH and ES left when they were passed over for the CEO role. That is typical at large companies.

EH didn’t want to be CEO back then
He was done and moved to Austin
Even tho they wanted him to stay and offered the CEO role

Don’t forget, it’s really one person making the decisions.

JD was a consultant clown. He didn't know our product, our business, our partners, or our people.
We would have been back after COVID and continued to be the one everyone was chasing.
JD was a grifter.

@tog.
I have a hard time believing EH would say, you asked for this. Then sit there smugly laying off thousands.

The plan was set publicly in 2017, which he was there for and the plan was already in motion. If he was the one that followed through with the plan from 2020, there during Covid, EH would be the one you would dislike right now.
With that said, it’s possible other decisions would have been made but it takes a village, not one person. There’s a board, remember that and the CEO doesn’t make all the decisions, they also execute the board of Directors decisions or approvals. I’m still glad EH is back and believe things would have gone differently in some areas but I think a lot of the past few years would have happened.
