A nice thoughtful and "cheap" email from FB's ghost writer. While heartfelt and meaningful what would be better is if the board decided on our bonuses and merit increases and went to enact them. Now that will be a way to celebrate employee appreciation day

Easier to keep track of which posts have been read. Need to keep the metrics up or that 2% raise might fall to a 1.9% raise.

He's just like us. Trying to hold out for as many paychecks as possible before the inevitable removal.
My department is overcome with oppression. I used to be able to talk to my manager about anything, but these days if I'm even 1% critical of Frank's regime my manager gets a scared look in his eye and quickly changes the subject. Frank rules through fear and is unable to accept much-deserved criticism. I mean just look at TH's face when he gives his co-speech at the state of the unions... he looks scared to death, like he's being watched under a microscope.
No one shares info or speaks a word in our dept.. the silence is a sweatshop/ morgue feeling…people give notice and leave… I’ve watched people be shunned from the day they give notice… really bad.

Merit increases are meant to be communicated by mid March, and take effect on April 1
HP & TH are doing the bare minimum these days... spamming out a half-hearted appreciation email partway through the day whilst collecting their $200k+ paychecks. Pathetic.

Bonuses were to be communicated mid-February, and disbursed with 2/28 paycheck.
