I have to laugh!
No more leaderboard simply means you’ll be coached out of your store in due time.
Upper-leadership is completely clueless. SMs and GMs don’t care anymore.
Sink this ship already.

What?!?!?!?
Nope. I am just "salty" there are so many dopes in retail. But I guess I am not surprised any dimwit can sling cell phones. Yes I make at least $20k less than a retail clerk. Actually I make $200k less. And I am "peppery" actually. Not "salty".
When are ypu moving out of mommies and daddies basement?
He is probably an old SM who got laid off last round.
5qoq+13h88tiJ it's obvious with the way you're talking that you make about 20k less than a retail rep. If you actually had a real job you wouldn't be salty about things that don't concern you, grow up little guy.
The network side is worst.
You are right, I would quit. I would be bored out of my mind doing that bonehead work.
"Would you like fries with that?" "Thank you for coming to Verizon, have a nice day!"
Yeah no...
I love corporate asswipes who thing our job is so easy. I'll pay you exactly what you get paid now and I bet you quit or get fired with in a month.
Union! Union! Union! I hate my job and being nice to people is hard. Verizon s—s!
Guest experience falls under conduct coaching. Trust me this makes it much easier than metric coaching. If someone wants you out it will happen! This makes me sad Verizon used to be such a good company to work for.
@2prs+13h88tiJ: I’m not making anywhere near $135K and nobody else in my store is either.
@1kir+13h88tiJ what an asinine comment- $135000 a year isn’t a real job? Go on somewhere your “real” job probably doesn’t come close to those earnings. Sad,sad attack probably bc you could make the cut in a job the requires human interaction
In Las Vegas, the turnover of employees is real. They can’t even hire part timers to fill the spots of people that left. Most of the people who left were quota-exceeding reps.
Union retail clerks. Thats funny. I worked retail while in college and then got a real job. Time to put on your big boy pants and grow up!
@1ltx+13h88tiJ how do you form a union for a job that has no requirements and can be done more efficiently online? I mean a union full of people that can stand and talk? ok,boomer
Its the year of the rat actually.
While I think retail definitely getting the short end of the stick, if your going to talk union I’d reach out to those stores who went union. They don’t have any say on pip process. Unfortunately we have to take what they throw at us.
@1sge+13h88tiJ: We’re long overdue for union representation. Verizon has been squeezing our necks for far too long.
There is a lot more UNION talk this past week with all the concerns coming about recently. Most employees feel they will always be walking on egg shells and want some job security/protection. Having to pay money to a Union seems like it will s— but if it will make a difference I’m all for it.
Again, every employee except the GM and the 2 SMs are trying to get out of the Big Log location! The staff that do leave are being replaced by wide eyed part timers. Also, the Voice surveys are in the Pip coaching also, 2 bad months a write up, thus 3 you're gone( 6months) Being judged by anyone walking into the front door Good luck!
@ovt+13h88tiJ: I would like to add that I hope I am wrong, but I have a gut feeling I won’t be.
@ovt+13h88tiJ: I hope this doesn’t come across as condescending, but do you wholeheartedly believe that? You don’t think it’s possible, after Feb 1st, that you’ll be coached out for underperforming on metrics, not hitting quota, etc? I find it difficult to trust leadership at this point, no matter how quickly we’re bleeding out.
How would they coach you out? Coachings are based on guest experience now
