I've submitted applications and interviewed, but haven't heard anything.

Did you apply to a position in the Philippines? They are hiring lots of people there to replace the US workers they are not hiring.
@2bku+1e5cXItd, they are clueless if they do not know the term, someone else's turn to eat in a world where diversity is now being embraced. You sound like a joy. shrug.
2bku+1e5cXItd they are clueless if they don't understand opportunity for all, diversity included. Someone else's turn to eat.
Don't do it........for the love of God don't do it!

Be careful what you wish for, for now there are no excuses not to educate yourselves for those opportunities.
I am glad to see it. The victim game is finally over. It has been played too long.
I just completed HR interview for a database FTE role this week. The HR guy said they wanted to fill it before end of year.
People simplistically presume if a company is laying off they aren't hiring. That is never true.
You really think think they are clueless because they mention someone else needs to eat? Sounds like you might need a clue. Bet you are real fun to be around.
@2gjy+1e5cXItd, didn't sound like sarcasm, but someone who is clueless. Shrugs.
@2vop+1e5cXItd, didn't think my sarcasm was that difficult to discern.
Apparently i was wrong...lighten up Francis
@1kby+1e5cXItd, someone else's turn to eat means minorities have been in the back for so long and not getting the proper opportunities. Starving for a leg up, if you will. It's someone else's turn to eat means we're finally getting a seat at the dinner table. Like it or not!
@edf+1e5cXItd, "Wells Fargo is still predominantly white. Someone else has to eat. Don't be mad."
Someone else has to eat??? Strangest thing I've ever heard.
To the people that whine about D&I, I'm an old white guy, I get hired, contrary to what's being posted here.
And I work with people of all types. Sometimes I get a promotion, sometimes someone who doesn't look like me gets a promotion.
Sure, there are some cases where a manager hires/promotes based on looks, that's been going on for a few hundred years and mostly benefits people like me, not the D&I folks.
This leads me to suspect eople that whine about D&I are usually not very good at their job and won't take responsibilty for themselves, and find it easier to play the victim.
Trust me, there's enough pie to go around for everyone, and in fact, the more people with pie the more the economy grows.
That's how a consumer based economy works.
So, yay America.
Yes, they are hiring - just not you.
So, you applied and interviewed and are wondering if they're hiring? WTF do you think?
Marketing is.
Recruiting is way behind even for internal stuff. I think HR is as well.
@paj, that is not true. Wells Fargo is still predominantly white.
Someone else has to eat. Don't be mad.
Is there something wrong with you?
Run. Do not apply at this train wreck of a company...
We are, but it also depends on where you fall on the D&I scale. If you’re part of the Voldemort Demographic (Middle Aged, Heteros-xual, White Males) don’t bother. You’ve been canceled because Charlie stuck his foot in his mouth when he said that Wells Fargo couldn’t find a diverse enough management pool because there wasn’t one. Ever sense then it’s been a D&I apology tour. Thanks Charlie.🤦🏻♂️
I know they're looking for IT contractors, FTE's I don't know.
People are always coming and going, even during times of layoffs, it depends on what dept you're looking at.
IT jobs are in demand right now.
Yes.
It’s a sure thing if you are a friend or family member of Charlie. No skills required.
Yes, Wells is hiring. HR is heavily backed up at this time for multiple reasons.
It is taking about 4 months at this point to go from job request to hiring.
There is a US hiring freeze at the moment.
You should hear something within 3 to 6 months if they want to hire you. Otherwise, within 6-12 months your application will be rejected once they realize they never closed the listing.
