Anyone know more about the second ‘Merit’ increase attributed to cost of living? Any thoughts, comments, theories, or rumors will be much appreciated.

3% isn't terrible (it also isn't great) IF you don't incur any payment increases in benefits. For years it seemed like Fiserv would give you 2.5% - 3% but that would be offset (or worse) by decreased benefits. It was fairly common to get a raise and have your take home pay DECREASE due to benefits prices increasing.
Grade 11 got 10k cash,
Grade 12 , 3% increment
When you get promoted is it 6%
For folks less than 1 year, any increment or zero?
Ultimately the Fiserv “career path” - for most of us - can go in only one direction: out.
Because if you stay in, your reward will be a steady decline in purchasing power.
3% isn’t even close to keeping up with price increases - not just today but for years now.
I got 3% increment , not enough !
You will have gotten an email last month if you are getting one. Managers have to let eligible associates know details by Thursday before next paycheck Friday.

At least yours alluded to it. Mine seemed to be really proud of how I was able to get more than the max allowed, for it to be less then 4%
Unless you are getting a promotion, you are getting quite a haircut over the last three years. The pathetic "merit" increased wouldn't even close to cover inflation.
Agreed! Where most orgs start around 2-3% annually, Fiserv maxes out there. My boss alluded to feeling ashamed about me getting the max knowing how over-burdened my team and I are. Oh and GC has forbidden any bonuses outside of the structured bonus. So if you go above and beyond or save the companies skin or reputation; just know you WILL NOT be rewarded for it. Save that lamp oil, burning it past midnight will not help, not even to keep you off the layoff lists.
Your working for less this year whether you received an increase. Inflation, consumer price increases and taxes take far more than the fiserv increase.
At least I got laid off. Some of these people have to stay at Fiserv.
At least some of you got a merit raise. I got laid off
Supposedly everyone under grade 10 got increases earlier in the year. I know for a fact that grade 10+ did not get increases earlier, which is why we are (supposed to) be getting them now.
Yes grade ten and uo got these merit increases. I'm grateful to get that increase too. Everything costs more these days. We need to provide better raises to tje grade 10 and under.
I hate this sweat shop!
So if you are below grade 10+…just so insulting…every move you make/keystrokes/badging in and out you are being monitored and reports are published weekly with the numbers..I’ve never experienced anything like it..total sweatshop
So if we are grade 10+ and did not receive that email we are just expected to keep doing more work for less money? What a great system/country
This is for Grade 10 and above to conclude the Merit Planning Season. Your boss will talk with you by month end and it will show on the next check with an additional amount for the beginning of May.
What email?
Fiserv is more likely to take away some current benefit and try to make you feel grateful that they are looking out for your best interests. What a company!
It went out in an email. Up to 3%. Announced by end of this month. Back rated to cover this month. If you got one your manager should've told you by now, and you'll see a bulk payment on your next check and the adjusted rate going forward.
Don't hold your breath
