Get ready. It's coming. It's being discussed at the leadership level. I love "collaborating" on Teams in an office where nobody talks to each other.

there isn't physical room for 5 days a week company-wide.
It has always been that the 3 days is a minimum and managers have discretion to make it more than that. If you look at the language on TW it does use the word "minimum"
I get the tracking reports. the focus is still on people who are coming in less than one day a week on average. then on less than 2 days per week.
I don't care what the next CEO does. He/she can do whatever the he-l they want. If they trend us back towards sanity on the WFH front, they'll be the best CEO in company history. It's the only thing I want from them.
If you were pointing your ridiculous comment at me, Thank You!
I NEVER carried a phone, and I had a second desktop at home. Eventually, I was required to take my laptop home with me every day as part of ''.
and yes, I am enjoying my retirement. I saved plenty. My finance guy told me before the scamdemic that I could retire anytime I wanted, and I said 'No, they are still paying me every two weeks, so lets see how this plays out'.
and it worked out great!
again, Thank You for your concern!
I used to think these posts were troll post. But, earlier this month, I saw a job posting that stated "currently, hybrid work schedule". Phrasing it that way may it seem that the hybrid schedule was temporary at least for that LOB. So, it seems like it may be true that the hybrid schedule may be on its last legs.
I hope not though. I like it and don't want it to end.
Bring back the stage coaches, they worked just fine for getting to work back in my day, sonny!!!!
In office work is a massive waste of time. Much more risk, massively expensive, way more sick days and unannounced PTO, s-xual harassment, employee drama, HR stuff that no one would dare transmit electronically and even if they did it's an open/shut term case instead of 'he said she said'. Not to mention the gridlock and carbon footprint of 100k employees driving every day for no reason. It's a farce that our execs keep taking about cutting costs while they insist on spending billions on buildings we don't need.
To the folks mocking with "when I started working here 25/30 years ago I came in 5 days a week, I don't know how I survived?!?" Did you carry your rotary phone and your big old desktop computer around with you as well? No, you didn't. Strange to think that things have changed in 30 years and perhaps working conditions should adapt to those changes. Enjoy your severance and good luck in retirement (assuming you planned accordingly and didn't shirk 401k's when they were a new thing).
Chuckie has never work in a lower level job in his life. He has likely never been to a grocery store. Can't think of more out of touch "leader". Can we bring back Tim Sloan.
Troll post—-move along. Nothing to see here.
By the time the hub opens, all Dallas metro employees will fit. They'll downsize / contract / outsource enough to make it happen. It's been the plan all along.
@1iak+1u7w2tUu, 5 days for me too for the first 25 years of my career. And my parents did it for their entire careers. And my grandfathers too! How was that even possible?
"Many people have said 5. There saying it's yuge. What their doing it's terrible. They're horrible vicious people."
when I started 30 years ago, those visionless executives had me coming in 5 days a week! I don't know I survived!
Crazy times we live in...........................
LOL @exg+1u7w2tUu because neither of rides two listed has ever changed their stance on anything.
But I am a naturalist.
@cnv+1u7w2tUu Many people have said 5. There saying it's yuge. What their doing it's terrible. They're horrible vicious people.
@cnv+1u7w2tUu
5 has been discussed from what I have heard. It also fits the strategy of making people quit.
I heard 5
I work in commercial and we went to 4 days in January. Nothing to yell about. It has worked out just fine for those of us who live near the office.
OMG say it isnt rue LOL Wells employees are su-k clowns no wonder they are cutting jobs just llok at the mentality of the people that post on this board
@exg+1u7w2tUu Saul said when head of tech “ we” could work remote….he’s definitely changed his stance, (probably Sharty pants made him) so yes— it’s true!
If so, it would directly contradict Powell and Saul statements. So… nope likely not true.
Move on RTO hype was last year. Be lucky it is not 5 days. Some of us that are laid off will gladly take your job.
I'll go 4 days a week. But just for one hour and straight back home to work remote for the rest of the day. 💅
Shartface wants people to quit.
The appropriate response then is to not quit.
Go in and do the absolute minimum until he's gone and this bank has actual leadership again.
There’s a ridiculously large campus going in in Irving Texas right now to consolidate everyone in the metro area. There honestly won’t be enough seats in the building to accommodate everyone in Dallas/FtWorth. It’s more of a stunt by HY to showcase a zero emissions/low carbon footprint office to get Bragging rights and taxpayer subsidies. The joke is that anyone commuting to the office obviously has to pollute to get there. Maybe the end game is to have that albatross sit empty while all the jobs go to Manila, Hyperbad, and Hudson yards.😂
That's exactly the response they are looking for. Remember everyone, Shart doesn't want ANY domestic employees outside HY. Everything he does, everything, is to that end. He wants us all gone, and he wants to accomplish that as inexpensively as possible. That's the only strategy he has. There's nothing else he's working on or cares about. It all goes back to that objective.
I'm getting Mpox and go to work covered in sores if they make us go in the office 4 days a week.
I just asked my manager (we are under the COO division). She confirmed this has been talked about for 2025. I will quit if this happens. Most hybrid jobs are only 2 days in the office.
This would be a perfect example of the executive management team's ineptitude. Most job postings these days are hiring for 3/2 Hybrid schedules. If WF were to handicap itself by pushing 4/1, it would be relegated to hiring undesirable/miserable/unmotivated workers who can't get a hybrid job. These employees would also be high-turnover employees who would bolt at the first external job offer for a better schedule.
Actually, this would be perfectly on-brand for the Charlie management team.
They can kiss my a-s.
FHY.
My area has been doing this since early 2023
I’ve been 4 days in office since last July, it’s already happening for a majority of folks.
No it isn't. OP is a troll.
Calling BS. Where’s everyone going to sit? The harassment claims will be through the roof.😂
Anyone that's discussing even more pointless time in an office building cannot be accurately described as "leadership".
This company has no leadership.
That's been talked about for almost 2 years.
Some LOBs will go to it and others won't.
I'd like to see what CPG has to say because they've already accounted for 3 days per week when creating spaces.
It’s just a way to get people to quit.
Useless attrition driver if true.
