Pattern: After every re-org, there will be few months of assessment by new management followed by layoffs of people who does not fit the bill or fit with boss.

If you are in good terms now, may not be after re-org. People behavior change very quickly to align with new leadership.

Be vigilant, careful, don't do anything to pi-s off anyone especially management.

Take out some time daily to study, keep applying for jobs and be ready for the worst.

We are in the middle of the tech recession, arguably the biggest in history. A paying job is a paying job, and you are welcome to take one for the company and quit.

Oracle employees, WHY are you doing this to yourselves?This annual June 1st layoff fire drill BS has going on for many, many years, yet you just continue to put up with it like sheep. You deserve a whole lot better. I left Oracle years ago and have never regretted it.

Do yourselves a favor and find a REAL company to work at. Take your talents to where you will be valued and appreciated. And you’ll make more money too. Get out of the mindset that you have to stay at Oracle. You don’t.

The word is that another big reorg is coming, which means terminations and changes that make no sense. Gotta love how this company keeps shuffling things around and has no idea what it is doing. Expect another full quarter to go down the drain to adjust to the changes made on June 1st. Good luck!
