Thread regarding Fiserv Inc. layoffs

5x/week in office in BH?

I've been hearing rumors that in the next quarter or so we will all be required to be in office 5 times a week in Berkeley Heights. Has anyone else heard something similar? (Not counting PL's org?) I am on 3x/week now.

I love how the badge police are nit picking and going after the staff that is atleast going into an office however many times a week, but crickets to the other %50 of the company that still works %100 remote lol. Good stuff, makes you feel valued.

Badging out is to combat those who badge in stay a few hours then leave at lunch and do not return....looking at you Alpharetta! Nobody fools the Frankmeister or the flying monkeys administering the hallowed badge report! (Or, as has been laughingly suggested, to make sure we have accurate counts in case of fire drill...) The next badge readers will be on the bathroom doors and coffee machines. In and out, in and out.

Stop the incessant whining. If working remote was an option many of you wouldn’t have a job to go into an office. Tremendous amounts of skill knowledge left Fiserv on their own or got booted because they refused to move to NJ. Suck it up buttercups. You got what you asked for.

Does anyone know what this badge in report looks like? I see they are trying to make us badge out now too. Are they still looking at "days with a badge in" or are they now going to complain if we aren't in for 8 hours? (despite everyone I know being online available for well over 40 hours a week)

Think about it...why would a Fortune 100 company struggle so much with defining this policy and codifying it explicitly and openly? It's a boiling the frog exercise...raise the bar slowly from RTO to majority to 3 day to 4 day to what the heck all-days... Next up, notices to sites when FB visits to ensure 100% butts in seats...no empty cubes. Potemkin attendance/collaboration, is that a thing? #InnovateThis

@1hhr+1ljPoKGc a few years ago I marked my tenth year working from home with FIserv. Give it a rest.

Too bad tax breaks and the need for command and control win out in FB's world vs innovation and collaboration with our associates all over the world.

HR is now saying “majority” is 4-5 days. Evidently they don’t know math. New hires now are required first 90 days is 5x a week. Oh also their Fiserv Friend or manager has to be in 5x too…

@1hhr+1ljPoKGc

I know, right?

I don't know why everyone is complaining about getting paid the same amount as they did three years ago. They were happy with their pay back then, so they should be happy getting paid the same amount today!

Love how everyone is afraid of a building but didn’t blink an eye about it a few years ago. Get over it.

Suckers senior leaders .. these days CIOs take pride in signing up for stupidity to make the place toxic.. they have gangs of toxic people hiring by the day…
Leadership is about saving people from stupidity rather than promoting .. so many lower level people are getting sick with heath issues for no reason .. this is unethical .. I feel sick of staying here .. god bless this company

Did you see the story about the 60 companies experimenting with 4 day weeks? I wouldn’t complain about being in the office all 4 days if I worked that schedule.

SLT folks are getting tired of being berated for badge data falling short of showing 3+ days a week compliance...which will happen if anyone takes a day off or there is a holiday...so we over-correct to manage to the dashboard report and metric that was ill-conceived, miscommunicated and lacks the ability to adjust to the fact that even loyal 3-dayers get to take time off... Very George Orwell. Gold stars all around.

Boy the shills are testy in recent days. They don't like people knowing the truth of what's coming for down the road for them.

Yeah Frankenstein doesn't like 3 days . I haven't heard anything concrete about changing, just that he is not happy with the swipe data

My bet the poster is a work from home Person who isn't even in an office at all.

There is nothing wrong or anything to apologize for Fiserv's policy.
