Why do they not allow us to volunteer layoff? Now that is something I'll go into an office for to accomplish

I've been there a little over a year. I'm leaving next week! I've met some really good people. I've also worked with some really lazy bags of &^& that spend time trying to get others to do their job. You know who you are.

It’s happened before. Every single team mate I’ve lost over the years was laid off a few days before reviews. That is unless they quit or resigned.
