@1sns+1teOAy0N I don't understand why you need anyone here to help you answer that. If you were laid off it is clearly stated in your offboarding documents. If you left on May 31, then yes you quality for PSP. Do you not know how to communicate with your HR partners, people solutions or just able to read the HR website?

@1ezv no, that does not make sense. It is not the same multiplier for any number between 25 and 100. If it were, why would they bother saying a number at all?

imagine that your salary is $100. You are grade 20 so 5% of your salary is eligible for a bonus.

Salary x eligible amt x bonus percentage.
If the bonus percentage announced is 25 then:
$100 x 5% x 25%
= $100 x 1.25%
= $1.25 is your bonus

Let’s say the bonus percentage is 100 (full payout):
$100 x 5% x 100%
= $100 x 5%
= $5 is your bonus

One more time with the actual number, 65:
$100 x 5% x 65%
= $100 x 3.25%
= $3.25 is your bonus

Thank you and goodnight.

Hilarious that two people commented, one saying 1.25 and another saying 3.25 - to OP’s original point. This sh-t is confusing.

The question wasn’t about basic math it was a question about the formula itself. How’d you get a job if you can’t read?

@oru - if you were laid off in February (such as myself) if you listened closely during your meeting with HR and your supervisor they “should” have told you (and if you read your paperwork) it states you are eligible for bonus.

At Grade 20 it’s 1.25%. That is the multiplier for anything above the 25% threshold and below the 100% threshold.

At Grade 20, over the 100% threshold is 5%. PSP has been made purposing confusing under the ruse of “creating a potential for higher payout”

this is the problem. How did OP get a job here? he/she/they(!) don't have a BASIC understanding of math.

@iea+1teOAy0N at least you’re eligible. Try those laid off in Feb or December who are still looking.

Not a single executive leader should be awarded with a bonus. The Board and the ELT have been running the business into the ground. The entire DTC leadership team and the ELT that supported this strategy should be ashamed and shown the door.

Yikes. Bummer for those of us who are still unemployed. That little extra would have been nice.

It is not that complicated! Your bonus is 5% of your salary. Since the payout is 65% this year, you will get 65% of 5% of your salary. (Salary X .05 X .65)
