Locations Joining Labor Groups

More and more locations are joining. Mich just started recently. At this point it is funny to watch.

Seems like joining a union out of spite is taken as a joke yet there's a legitimate reason behind anyone's motive to be spiteful. Maybe they should find out why?

You would think a major company would want its employees to be happy so they could make more money?

They dogpile every pro union comment with downvotes. It's so obvious.

No, people are sick of dealing with the same cr-p year after year and the company not caring, so people are fed up and have no where else to turn! Survey after survey people complain about the same stuff and nothing changes!

You know they're out of good, convincing argument when the resort to "join out of spite"

We just want to go union out of spite for our DM, the CEO, the pos systems, the compensation plan, hum (don't think we forgot), home protect, the broken bpk, tablets, smb cold calls, quote tool, one talk, b360, and 5 years of double denim attire that literally everyone hated but were forced to wear anyway

Union busters going hard in here attacking people. You mo--ns realize every pro athlete has an agent and a union. It's actually very smart to do.

It's 1.3% of base hourly. Not taken from commission, not taken from overtime, not taken from spiffs or other incentives. Regular 40hr and under base hourly. Don't know where people are getting 10% from, I don't think any union would exist if they took that much.

No one who has any self respect or education honestly believes in paying someone else to speak for you. You can look at the dang contract, there is literally no benefit. A 4% raise? When i pay 10% to the Union, nope!

More and more talk of unions since the company keeps sh-----g on the employees. Most of us see this as the only way to get the company to wake up and do what's right for the employees. Upper management is in for a big surprise when they realize how many stores are getting on board with the union.

Hey guy. A good Sm is not just a greeter. They jump into sales. A good GM delivers the messages of those calls to SMs ro execute. You must be on a store with id--ts.

There are so many id--ts posting here. If you don’t like working for Verizon….go somewhere else. I’ve been with company several year. It’s a great company. Work hard, get promoted and keep that going. Stop complaining! Move on.

Hmmm over the years 10 stores have joined the union including the two in WA. There are currently 5 including those two. You do the math.

Considering the current team commission and contribution reporting is unfair based on what location you work at I can see a lot of stores jumping on board for union representation. The ball is definitely rolling. Roll that ball to eastern Texas please.

@1fke+1hGin6T6... either way is just fine. Just as long as the dirtbags learn their lesson.

@ktp+1hGin6T6 Out of the dozen or so stores to go union over the past several years not one was converted to a reseller. There were two that permanently closed so that seems more logical to happen.

Cosidering the new demographic of employee it is going to be very hard for push back especially if it scales. The main person in charge is video record its on the web saying that they see no problem with employees joining the a organziation

It's the only solution to management treatment. Not optimal for execs but good for the people doing the work.

With this climate if they shut those stores down the publicly would be terrible. Plus if they shut your store down they just send you some where else or give you a package.
