Has anybody noticed that more people are being fired lately? Without severance or anything.

DEI headquarters next
There was an article a few weeks ago about companies firing employees for the smallest infractions. That way, they can get rid of a specific employee and not have to pay severance.
There was a very small round 3 weeks ago. In my immediate area, the "DEI" hires were given the boot and suddenly everyone else is breathing easier.
No ones getting fired. Can you stop trolling? Pls stfu.
@1emf+1vIYqzie
Could also be they were not aligned with participating in working against their values and code of ethics Nike so proudly stands by.. but how many leaders actually follow ?
Unless you have other insider scoop.
@1ybz+1vIYqzie If it’s individuals and not teams I’d say maybe it’s more about inability to embrace recent change or not a good match w new leaders and is more about their case then company direction. People get fired all the time everywhere so I wouldn’t say this is any indication of anything.
If all in the same department / team etc maybe something else is going on.
I’ve seen it with 4 friends lately (since September) it’s ruthless. But life outside the berm is heavenly
🙄 yeah sure. They’re going quiet layoff crazy right before our biggest revenue week and month of the year.
just another troll. sighs
Nope. I have not seen this. What part of the business are you in?
