3 stores in Ohio are closing. I’m sure a wave 2 is coming.
What stores in CA closed ?
It’s real, two stores here in CA done for. Condolences to the reps that thought they could ride the vzw wave forever.
FAKE NEWS!!!! GET BACK TO WORK!!!!
Any update from those that are in the loop? When will info be provided to those in the stores?
Can y’all quit and go work at 7/11 please? Half a– money suuuuucking slugs
@1dyt+15X753x7 You ok buddy?
If y’all worked as hard at tour actual position as hard as you work reading all this negative bullsh*t on a daily, you’d be much happier in life. Nope you tester continue s—ing the companies money while performing sub par. Keep b–ching and moaning as the company pays you 40 hours for 24 hours of work. Where’s those posts huh? Where’s the posts thanking the company for taking care of you when you needed it most you f—ing snakes.
So no one in here knows If severance is two weeks per year OR three weeks. I happen across a your severance package Want there before .
Goodbye everyone
Anyone know what stores in Georgia? And are all being transferred to authorized retailers – or are some closing permanently?
Will people at stores that do not close be offered a package? For those that are over headcount?
severance Package is 3 weeks per year of a max 35 weeks. They’ll find out what available positions are available.
So what does the severance look like?? 3 weeks per yr max 60 weeks?
Are those already working in their home store excluded from these changes, or will they be required to apply for their current position too?
The stores closing is a real thing. It will largely go unnoticed because most reps will be placed in stores where staffing is low ....which is all of them that remain open. Many stores have 2-3 reps out because of child care issues. I can see them staying out through the end of this year because of home schooling. Even if one store per district closes all those reps will be easily placed. Now when it comes to sm jobs well....adios you loser koolaid drinkers.
Honestly I’m glad stores are closing because that means SM’s and DM’s will be consolidated which in turn means some will be losing jobs. For instance there is no way a DM is only going to be responsible for 4 retail store locations.
@psu+15X753x7 Yeah that new scheduling tool is very much like working in a union store location where you can’t just switch or request a day as it becomes needed. Funny how Verizon is taking the union approach to scheduling.
Nationwide
Can someone post on here what areas are seeing closures? Or is this nationwide?
It’s funny how many times the director said this was all done out of feedback everyone provided on the pulse survey. Employees made it very clear, they no longer wanted to serve the customer in store and would rather join the phenomenal telesales department or serve as a customer service advocate as these options give the employee the best work life balance possible. (I’m joking) Uggghhh
So any idea what stores will be closing or having layoffs tomorrow ? Got word we have a mandatory all hands meeting for my store tomorrow even though we’ve been open through the whole pandemic
It is amazing how many employees defend everything this company is doing to it's employees. Lies after lies, being very deceptive in the changes they're making. Not clearly communicating any major policy changes. People finding out on the internet that they're getting laid off. to stop defending this company saying they're making it better for employees they're treating us all like pieces of human garbage.
Where is Krista? Shouldn't she be having a call to tell us how exciting these changes are.
If any of you retail people having taken your new scheduling tool. Remember this new tool that's going to give employees work-life balance and more flexibility?!? you're no longer allowed to request a day off during the week if you want a day off you have to use vacation or personal. Now that's a very exciting change I think we're all going to love.
Isn’t it great we hear about this on a lay-off board?
What if our store is closed but we were reassigned to another location?
This is just the beginning.
@lgz+15X753x7 It is a lost your job message, stop pandering to Verizon semantics
Packages for any other positions mentioned besides the stores?
https://www.fiercewireless.com/wireless/more-than-2k-postpaid-prepaid-stores-close-for-good-wave7
Definitely real- unfortunately. If your store is still closed then you’re probably one of the stores that is being transitioned to an authorized reseller. They’ll be to store employees tomorrow and Friday will find out available positions to apply or package.
What communication and what changes ?
If this is correct. What stores and when?
This is real, if your a rep you’ll get communication on this tomorrow. Not a you lost your job email but a general email outlining the changes
Big Log is up and ready to go, no reseller take over here!
How many stores do they plan on switching to indirect ?
This is real and no troll corp stores going indirect
Probably union trolls posting this stuff
This is very real.
What stores what area etc
