Communication is still not at the level that it needs to be. Seems like the new company is going with the flow of the old company executives. We are still being directed with the same bad policy and mindsets that buried the company. It's a sad day and I predict that the new management will have the same results if they keep following the advice of the decrepit. There are still too many in the ivory tower that need to go in order for this company to be successful. They ruined Follett and for them to remain in any position of authority and to still be deemed "Experts" is just sinful.

I just wish we’d have less tedious tasks to complete. It doesn’t look like our busy work is going away.
@1dwp+1gzkja45 - no you won't see me. I am already long gone. Just like to drop in every once in a while and see if anything has changed. It never changes, same people writing the same stuff they were writing a decade ago. All waiting for the magic retail fairy to return the company back to the good old days. As I said, hope is nice but it is not a career strategy.
Don’t you know? We are sinning and they are trying to lead us down a more righteous path into salvation. Instead of complaining once in a while about our job, we should instead focus on complaining about people that complain.

@1abx+1gzkja45, I agree the sense of entitlement is stunning. Hope is a great thing but not an employment strategy. After over 10 years of non-stop layoffs to think that this company is going to be turned around is nothing short of delusional.
