A year or so ago, this board could be relied upon to communicate upcoming layoffs.
Now the topics span everything but layoffs.
Onesie-twosie cuts might be happening, but at least there's no more mass layoffs.

Got laid off today in the DMV area- branch closure.

With over 20 branches closing every month till next year and all the call centers that are closing because Charlie sent them to India and the Philippines how is that not mass lay-off? Remember when a employee gets packaged out they sign a non disclosure agreement meaning they can not talk about if they want to keep their severance pay.

I agree there were never any mass layoffs. People get the hint and leave on their own. This board just had a ton of losers who complain about life in general and point out reason for being a loser OVER and OVER to the world.
There were never any mass layoffs, but we are still going strong. Another 2k will be gone this month and next and next until we r down to 220
HR? Isn't that the group that's hurting the most at this very moment? I hear they can't keep up with both interviewing and exits (voluntary or otherwise).

There is a lot of attrition at this point, too. The environment has gotten so toxic in some LOBs that people are dropping like flies!
Layoffs don't need to happen when you force people to quit!
OP thinks our CEO doesn’t know what he’s talking about? Isn’t telling the truth? He has publicly committed to laying off 25% of the workforce and has never publicly backed off of that figure.
