Thread regarding Xerox Corp. layoffs

How many people were laid off between both Lexmark and Xerox?

It seems like what people are saying is it was a small layoff..

any idea?

In the Oct 15 (round 1 of 3+ to occur in 2025), my group lost 15%. That tracks with another much larger SAG group that according to OWBPA docs also lost approx 15% headcount.

@d0 Fujjifilm Business Innovation has launched 28 new machines and are gaining in North American markets.
Xerox took 2 of their older engines and rebranded them, doesn't seem like a long term model.
Lexmark compared to a Fuji machine is like comparing a Yugo to a Maserati. Not sure where that is going.

Blind infatuation with the uneasy fear of change.

What else would explain the reason that anyone would be staying here???

It sure isn’t the Xerox name…

@d0 Some of the small MFP from Fujifilm are being discontinued and won't be supplied to Xerox anymore or Xerox themselves will not spend controller development on them.
The larger machines that are in agreement still have costly US software engineers that are as a business model need to be offshored per Xerox's new business model.

Most of the shuffling of people in engineering went on when big production machines were shut down. They put them on acquired product machines (mainly fuji machines which will be gone soon), and renamed the group. So yes, many in the shadows still, doubled up positions. Most contracts got laid off though.
The big question is the redundancy of management when Lexmark is brought into the picture, how much SLT does a company need?
